Conservatives have long spun the narrative that the only way Democrats can win is if they c***t. Trump didn't invent this narrative of course but he, more than anyone, has used it as a political tool to try to overturn the results of a democratically run e******n.

An e******n, that went surprisingly smooth in spite of record turnout where accusations of c***ting were dismissed by Trump's own appointees, Christopher Krebs, and attorney general Bill Barr. The first, who was appointed to head the Department of Homeland Security's Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency and was tasked to make certain that there was no foreign interference or fraud in our e******n. Barr used the DoJ to investigate charges of fraud brought by Trump and the Republican party and found nothing that could affect the outcome of the e******n.

According to Krebs, "This was a secure e******n," Krebs said. "That is a success story. That is something everyone in the administration should be proud of. That's the story I feel we should be telling now." Of course, if Trump had won, that is the story that conservatives would be spinning.

So if not this time, one has to think that at some point Conservatives will be successful in overturning an e******n with nothing more than the accusation of c***ting. That's why I ask, has Trump put an end to American democracy? Regardless of the outcome of this e******n. When history looks back at this point in time will this be the point where we were a democracy no more?

It's like this ; 2015 through 2016 "the e******ns are r****d! The e******ns are r****d! Wait, I won? Ha! I knew it all along. What do you mean I didn't win the popular v**e? Of course I did, I'm more popular than Jesus Christ!"

2019 - 2020 "I can't lose! What, the polls all show me losing? Well, then it must be e******n f***d ( how do you organize massive c***ting in multiple polls anyway? ). I lost? Impossible, the whole world loves them some donald trump, you've been telling me so for years, so, it must be massive e******n f***d"

No, democracy, normalcy, and civility aren't gone.........................they just got a black eye, but it'll heal.

We've reached a point where we can't believe the winner of a political race for his/her office through a democratic process laid out by our constitution and rule of law.

Well, I don't think conservatives are going to shut up...be it tomorrow or at any point in time in the future and we know that T***h doesn't matter to them. They believe what their demagogues tell them to believe and there is nothing that anyone can do to change that. So a black eye? I hope so but I think the damage is to such an extent that the change is permanent.

Yea yea yea ,maybe the democrates have for once out done the GOP ,on c***ting ,but the only thing trump and all his high paid lawyers can't really find v***r f***d ,you say they have all kinds of examples of v***r f***d. But it always turns out to be nothing but bs. While you are being told this is the most secure e******n in history ,and the reason for that is trump has been hollering for years about v***r f***d.So what's not to tell us that some of the states t***p w*n there was not v***r f***d ,I think democrates should start filing lawsuits in states that t***p w*n ,and counting v**es over and over, doesn't that make since to you ,how in the world could trump have won in the states he won?

Not for those still willing to fight for it.
We have beaten F*****ts all over the world.
Once exposed, they’re gone.

What does that matter? So long as demagogues run the Republican party wh**ever they say is what's going to be true. Look at Arizona and Georga. Both solid Republican states with Republican rules and regulations, but because your demagogues told you so, every one of Trump's base was convinced that c***ting by the Democrats was the only reason Trump lost the race.

So it doesn't matter what the rules and regulations are--so long as conservatives believe ONLY what they are told to believe--democracy in this country is gone. And let me ask you. If Democrats win the two senate seats in Georgia will you believe they did so fairly or will you believe they won only because they c***ted--because you believe that's the only way a Democrat can win a political race...

The war that we are fighting is rhetorical. And they have been exposed but exposing them does no good. Conservatives in this country will believe anything that one of their demagogues tells them. Exposing them as liars does nothing. Was there a single conservative out there who changed their mind when Trump's lies were exposed by the media? No, they just discredit the media, and once discredited any t***h they speak becomes irrelivant.

This is a war that has been going on since the 80's and we've lost every round that we've been in.
