Trump has to keep his base, actually in practical terms Trump is in supersymmetry, depends who measures him first the NSA or the the people of USA, if I was Trump I wouldn't have done any pardons or signed any bills, that was a mistake.

With a lot of redlining and edits to it.

Trump said: "I will sign the Omnibus and C***d package with a strong message that makes clear to Congress that wasteful items need to be removed. I will send back to Congress a redlined version, item by item, accompanied by the formal rescission request to Congress insisting that those funds be removed from the bill. I am signing this bill to restore unemployment benefits, stop evictions, provide rental assistance, add money for PPP, return our airline workers back to work, add substantially more money for v*****e distribution, and much more. On Monday the House will v**e to increase payments to individuals from $600 to $2,000. Therefore, a family of four would receive $5,200. Additionally, Congress has promised that Section 230, which so unfairly benefits Big Tech at the expense of the American people, will be reviewed and either be terminated or substantially reformed."

As usual, he's thinking of what's best for our country and it's people, not Pakistan's t*********r programs, Nancy's museums and opera houses and other "pork" that the Dems are trying to tack on to the bill...

If the e******n is invalid them complying with Government procedure should be put on hold otherwise the common assessment of the outcome the one acceptable to the media which is the voice of the Nation is being upheld for all practical reasons, when Trump said I'm not going to make Biden privy to Government functioning he was on track to challenge the validity of the e******n, pardons and bill endorsement is creating unity where according to the GOP there should be disunity.

Actually no conflicted society in history has ever be unified by discretion using qualification of endorsements, there is always a first time, my guess is not this time.

Thanks for the analysis, I'm not American, maybe nuances are more acceptable over there.

He had to sign the bill before the end of the year to avoid a government shutdown. That would have made the country that has been locked down already for nine months from the China v***s worse, and that is against what Trump wants for us and our country.

Another thing: a lot of Americans feel that Biden will not last as a president - that he is just a vehicle to install Kamala Harris as president. She is an extreme left g*******t who the shadow government wanted to be elected president. Since she blew it big time at the debates and couldn't get herself nominated, this is the way they are sneaking her in.

Once that happens, our country will be well on it's way to Socialism....and then as China becomes a larger influence on our government (because China owns Biden and his whole family and half of Congress)...it won't be long before our country will become part of the CCP. It went into motion when they instilled the v***s upon our country and the rest of the world. Xi Jinpeng has already declared himself Emperor of China...he wants to be Emperor of the world.

Regarding the e******n: There are still quite a few court cases left to be decided on the e******n. Most likely Biden will be inaugurated. But that does not mean he won the e******n. Sure, they can call it a "win" if they want to, but in my opinion, "winning" by c***ting is not a true victory.

When you go into a figh you have to expect getting hurt, GOP not just Trump should have used shut down as leverage to get mew e******ns in questionable States, after all if the e******n is not legitimate then the present Government can't be legitimate either, but that could be overlooked if there was an agreed understanding, although Trump would have to push up GOP as the lead protagonist to be in a strong position.

Also, Trump and Gough Whitlam have got a lot in common, taking on intrenched aristocrats.
Whitlam actually asked the e*****rate for a second endorsement which wasn't forthcoming, because it was thought Fraser was more secure, bahhahahahabah a few years later the mug turned up in Memphis to give a speech but lost his trousers while out and about, said he couldn't remember anything about it, but did make the statement "I wish I'd never been to bloody Memphis".

Agreed about Harris being the de-facto President or President by default probably more accurate, and Socialism in the US is not unique EU is the brand with 2 faces laissez-faire culture and Plutocracy economically, China is more Central both Economic and Culturally, Trump represented a trade off between the two same as Whitlam.

You say "winning by c***ting is not a true victory" that's probably what I think Trump's position is heading towards, the point of my statements on this thread is to maintain that Trump's position if it is what I just described will not be adequate to reunite the Country but I am not sure what would be the best strategy going foward the jackals will be wanting this to never happen again as was the case in Australia with puppets Hawk and Keating, and Whitman didn't push it as far as Trump.
