Barabbas: bar=son, abba=father.
Therefore Barabbas means “son of the father.
Jesus is The Son of God.
In other words, Son of the Father.
Either way, the same.
Pilate released, and at the same time, didn’t release, Jesus, to be the scapegoat of, (and pay for), our sin and sins.
The Bible is chocked full of incredible and wonderful parallels.
Obviously it is written by God!
Praise Him from whom all blessings!
