Apparently, the Russians have launched a full-scale and ongoing cyberattack on the United States all while Donald J Trump twiddled his thumbs one last time on his golden throne!

Oh, BTW, this is what happens when no one is in charge...

The Energy Department and National Nuclear Security Administration, which maintains the U.S. nuclear weapons stockpile, have evidence that hackers accessed their networks as part of an extensive espionage operation that has affected at least half a dozen federal agencies, officials directly familiar with the matter said.

On Thursday, DOE and NNSA officials began coordinating notifications about the breach to their congressional oversight bodies after being briefed by Rocky Campione, the chief information officer at DOE.

They found suspicious activity in networks belonging to the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC), Sandia and Los Alamos national laboratories in New Mexico and Washington, the Office of Secure T***sportation at NNSA, and the Richland Field Office of the DOE.

The hackers have been able to do more damage at FERC than the other agencies, and officials there have evidence of highly malicious activity, the officials said, but did not elaborate.

The officials said that the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency, which has been helping to manage the federal response to the broad hacking campaign, indicated to FERC this week that CISA was overwhelmed and might not be able to allocate the necessary resources to respond. DOE will therefore be allocating extra resources to FERC to help investigate the hack, even though FERC is a semi-autonomous agency, the officials said.

Several top officials from CISA, including its former director Christopher Krebs, have either been pushed out by the Trump administration or resigned in recent weeks.

Federal investigators have been combing through networks in recent days to determine what hackers had been able to access and/or steal, and officials at DOE still don’t know whether the attackers were able to access anything, the people said, noting that the investigation is ongoing and they may not know the full extent of the damage “for weeks.”

Spokespeople for DOE did not immediately respond to requests for comment.

I agree guys, let’s v**e him out of office and put that true Chinese Patriot in his place! With his sharp eyes and mind, we will really be safe. But, just to be on the safe side, I think I had better go buy a few AR-15s and plenty of ammo to protect me from enemies, both foreign AND domestic. Have a nice evening!

Apparently, the Chinese, still stuck on the Russian narrative aren't you? You do know their economy and GDP is about equal to Texas. If nothing else, you lefties are consistent. You seem to crave a world war. The NWO takeover can't work without one.

You call Biden a risk of China and ignore McConnell's direct link to China, his wife. The woman was born there and now runs the U.S. T***sportation Department, Elaine Chao born in Taiwan.

They were probably using the russian anti v***s software again.

See if this makes sense:

DARPA discovered manufactured backdoor channels in computer chips used in defensive and offensive weapons systems made in china.........................15 years ago. Those chips are still in use today.........giving the chinese the ability to blind and neuter the US armed forces.

Many government agencies were using russian made network security software several years ago..............................and replaced them with other foreign software.

Defense contractors KNEW their networks were vulnerable to foreign agents accessing offsite equipment at home............................but continued to allow offsite work. The same companies acted surprised that China's new stealth fighter looks exactly like our F35.

How many different kinds of stupid does one have to be? Know how to keep hackers out of your systems? Take them off the *$$%^$% internet! Is it really too much work for someone to look at power equipment systems.........................at the place where those systems are located? To actually go TO work and LEAVE your work at the office? Is it too much trouble to send a fax from a fax machine, or make a phone call, instead of using the internet....................to send information down the hall or across the street?

It's no wonder that tech savvy countries laugh at our feeble efforts to defend ourselves from cyber threats.

All this been going on for years trying to protect from an internet breach. Easy answer, there's fiber optics running pretty much nation wide. buy one or two fiber strands write some software, reprogram some routers and create a separate network free from the internet. easy fix, why hasn't the government thought of it. Sure it'd cost but the savings on billions on cyber security would off set that quick.

Taiwan is independent of China.
Elaine Chao was 8 years old when her family immigrated to the US.
The USTD is not an intelligence agency.

Elaine Chao didn't make a self-enriching billion dollar deal with the president of China.
