This is the act of a loose cannon or someone who is appealing to the darkness to shadow the light, Trump's losing it that's for sure.

Not exactly, the steps that the USA (plus 38 other nations) and Israel took is "normalization." There are a few nations who "feel" there is no " right of self-determination of the Sahrawi people ", including the option of autonomy under Moroccan sovereignty.

Nothing is finalized, this was an opening for discussions.

Look at the states that have withdrawn recognition of the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic since about the year 2000, "India", Bolivia, Peru, Serbia, Columbia, Albania and Haiti, so why the US join this group all of a sudden out of the blue, that's what I'm asking on a political forum, that's what politics is certified meddling, initially individuals were just that independent, the reasons we give for meddling are primarily to justify our sacrifice of independence for the benefits of collective engagement against nature, so there is nothing unnatural about being unnatural, the US joining at the hip with a loser like India is worrying.

Morocco never was related or had anything to do with Western Sahara before the vast region was populated by Nomadic Tribes, I've mentioned this before on OPP, so it's not really meddling it's a part of history.

And bescides the US has never recognised Moroccan sovereignty over the mineral rich massive desert why do it now in light of all the internal problums the US has got ?. Trump's never mentioned this before that I'm aware of, correct me if I'm wrong so Trump is uncertified meddling.

Thanks for the reply, I blame certain people on OPP for causing Trump to go off the rails, your not one of them.

As you are well aware, the Ivory Coast has been simmering since 2012, and Trump has , and is in the process of preventing it from boiling over. By organizing for Peace in that region, Trump may prevent 50,000 troops from fighting another endless war that is in the works. Wish them luck please.

I followed the Ivory Coast (Cote d Ivoire) very closely when the French paid an army of mercenaries from Burkina Faso to join up with their man in a dispute over plantation ownership that was raging for 3 decades, it was settled and the elected guy (Gbabgo who refused to accept e******n result sound familiar? went to jail in the Hague), millions of immigrants were involved brough in to work on the plantations that was the core issue, also like US today.

It did settle the dispute that became a civil war but if the US problem is solved the same way it's not the culture we represent will be proactive in the future, Good point thanks.

No not aware of that, I came in about 2010, before I got a on the internet, I was a bit of a short wave radio buff, had really high aerials, got most of my information from BBC's night station.

I do know it was a long dispute that was solved in a matter of weeks when France intervened politically, l think they sent a small force to protect their embassy and denied any involvement with the North bordered with Burkina Faso, it was a North - South conflict, anyhow I see Gbabgo has been released about a year ago, I think his wife was released a bit before him,(correct me if I'm wrong), and I see there's still trouble in Cote d Ivore and also trouble in Burkina Faso, so the settlement could fall apart, if only people would recognise me as Jesus I'm sure I could fix it.

First, who is the loose cannon you are referring to? Can you justify your statement for saying that?

Your hatred for president Trump made you arrive at a very faulty and wrong conclusion about the president. Fact of the matter is, president Trump is the best president of the US since president Reagan. He has achieved so many things for a short period of time, despite of the democrats' blockages and barriers put on front of him. He loves this country and the people.

The Middle East countries that are trying to have alliance with Israel have desires to doing that. First, the Moroccan country had voluntarily desired to have alliance with Israel. It could benefit them both of cultural exchange, trade, economic and scientific development, and most of all peace.

On the contrary, the Saharan people did not call for the Israel relationship. This is a wide desert and very sparsely populated country. You don't blame president Trump for their living condition, and for not joining with Israel.

The place is mostly desert with few people living in every square mile, of land. The UN must take its duty to ensuring that these people are given the proper UN mission, to advance its civilization , and economy that this country needed most. That is not the job of president Trump. It is the UN's. And you don’t call him a loose cannon, if you could not justify your accusation.

I don't appreciate that!

A continuation of the above.

I have read from Jerusalem Post that the US has now recognized that Western Sahara is part of Morocco. I think it is for the good of the Western Sahara.

Morocco recognized the United States in 1777. It is thus fitting we recognize their sovereignty over the Western Sahara,” Trump added. No other UN member states recognize Western Sahara as part of Morocco.
