He didn't snitch on a UPS driver, he snitched on the lady who was handling his package behind the counter. She was not "liquored up"

From what I read, he spoke to a UPS driver later who said the lady might have been fired. What are you talking about?

She was not but she was violating company policy and likely health department regulations and putting the lives of customers and the public at risk, the same way driving a truck while intoxicated does. Most people can drive drunk or be in a public building unmasked during a p******c without causing harm. It simply creates an unacceptable increase in risk.

Do you know, UPS, USPS, and Fedex have a mask policy "For employees whose job entails interacting with relative strangers and therefore potentially exposing themselves to some degree of C****-** risk, wearing a mask while you are within 6 feet of them and follow CDC guidelines." And the CDC says (drum roll) stay 6 feet apart and masks should NOT be worn by Anyone who has trouble breathing."

Look it up!

Everybody going into their office wears a mask, they have a plastic shield up between the register and customers, marks on the floor for distancing...

the woman weighing my package had no mask, I ask her where her mask is. She says it's in her pocket, she took it off for awhile because she needed a break...and added because I can do that if I want. I asked really, UPS management doesn't care when they are going to so much trouble to give the appearance they care, and an employee doesn't? I told her I was going to talk to their corporate office, and I did as soon as I got home. They said they would look into that, that this was not reflecting their policy.

I said something to the UPS driver, he said oh, that was you, they might have canned her, he new she was on administrative leave and she might get canned.

She deserved to get canned for lipping off to a customer rather than putting her mask on when I said something.

The mask does nothing for the wearer. The mask blocks large discharges, from C***D positive people, from becoming airborne and infecting other people. The best defense for those most vulnerable is distance from other people, which means those who are sick from other diseases is to stay at home or within their family unit. With all the "no contact" curb and home delivery there is really only few exceptions for going out and being exposed.

The chance of you or me or anyone dying from this v***s is about 0.5–1%. And only if you have c*********d health problems or a weak i****e s****m from being obese or diabetic or something similar. If that is the case, you should not be going to the post office or anywhere in public for that matter...so if someone falls into that category and gets sick, it's their own doing.

The chance of you or me or anyone recovering from it if we DO get it is 98.6%.

So going around snitching on people, getting them fired and strutting about on a public forum about how wonderful you are is way out of proportion with regard to the actual seriousness of this "crime" that poor lady supposedly committed.
