The CDC and the WHO have been decimated by trump. They used to be independent. There were field hospitals set up for overflow, many never used, but now some are being brought online. Workers are scarce, nurses are overwhelmed.
There are long lines going for miles of people trying to get free food. I don’t know about warehouses full of food, but that is logical, many don’t have funds to buy it.
I’m not talking about Trump here I’m talking about the CDC and the WHO‘s own conflict constantly and their constant changes of everything starting with the masks aren’t needed, masks are needed, masks work, the mask don’t work, they don’t really protect you or people you are in contact with. Social distancing being done and not changing anything, shut downs being done, not changing anything, gradual reopens done, not changing anything etc. It’s airborne no it’s not airborne it’s contained at 6 feet, no it’s not, it’s contained at 10 feet now it’s 12 feet, etc..
You’re right about the nurses remember when they started announcing significant layoffs of people when the v***s was on the down? Do you hear anything about bringing those people back from their alleged “furlough”and utilizing their services? What you do see is a lot of those people saying not going back to much of a risk for them. The minute the v***s seems to be under control those hospitals sure canned a number of people... All those first responders that risks their lives.. Do you wonder why they have no allegiance and coming back?? And on top of that adding injury to insult have you checked the proper ratio of those hospitals my God it’s insane...
Many don’t have the funds to buy the food necessary are you kidding me they jump their price to and three times during the height of the v***s and made more money than you and I will ever see in our lifetime. They claim they lost out but that’s just not the t***h.
https://amtrustfinancial.com/blog/small-business/grocery-stores-thriving-c****av***sAs for larger stores, overall sales increased by double digits for Costco in the fiscal 2020 second quarter. Net sales climbed 10.5% to $38.26 billion from $34.63 billion a year earlier. Amazon is set to hire 100,000 workers in an attempt to meet their online orders, which have surged since the outbreak.
Here’s a quick snapshot from a recent report about the boom for grocery stores:
Grocery stores and supermarkets in most states were up 20% to 50%
Only five states saw a decrease in year-over-year sales during this period
Sales nearly double on February 10 and 11, corresponding with the news that the global death toll for c****av***s had topped 1,000
U.S. sales in March have been up 20% to 30% nearly every day, with the mounting gains on the week of March 8, when much of the country started shutting down
Sales then spiked dramatically the weekend of March 13 after major announcements like the NBA suspending its season and several states closing schools
Grocery stores across the country saw a 100% increase in revenue on March 16(Snip, more to read)
Then we come back to the back but while everybody was predicting a second and third wave not one city or state took the opportunity to replenish the PPE products they needed once again caught with our pants down when we knew very well the damn v***s was supposedly not over yet or at least had the potential of increasing again, who is the i***t here moldy?
