If cleaning the swamp is what one wants to do, Assange should be released & put in protective custody, should have been the day Trump took office. The problem is who can be trusted to guard him? I don’t trust any of the alphabet soup agencies to protect him, definitely not FBI or DOJ. I have more & more doubts about DOD.

Snowden should be released.

Every president in the past has been criticized for the people they pardon so I don't care who he pardons just so it's not himself.

Both men were situationally reckless and there is some indicatiion that their shenanigans put covert western agents and informants in jeopardy but in a line call I would question the idea of prosecution since that would seem to be a case of going after whistleblowing. Anyway you can only pardon someone already convicted of a crime and neither man has been bought to trial.
