Every time that Israel gets into the news, which is often lately because of the constant terrorist attacks, topics and posts quickly follow that question Israel's right to defend themselves, or blame them for the deaths of civilians in the fight to free themselves from terrorist's assaults.

The amount of hatred shown toward Jews on OPP would be astonishing, if you didn't take the stupidity of so many of those people into account.

H**e doesn't pick favorites, though. There's some very intelligent Jew h**ers on OPP too, both Conservative and Liberal. Hating Jews is an equal-opportunity pastime for bigots of all stripes.

The Germans all got onto the H**e Jews bandwagon, it was very popular in Germany, and in the end, most of Germany was turned to rubble and most of their population k**led. Not that the Jews did that, they didn't. The plain reality is that the Germans did it to themselves. Hatred like that breeds it's own destruction. It always does.

Now that the world has grudgingly given the Jews back a tiny sliver of their former nation, it even more grudgingly is trying to take it back again.

All forms of Christianity and Islam are founded on Judaism, yet Judaism may have the smallest number of adherents of any religion. There are perhaps 95 million Rastafarians, but only 14 million Jews, in the world.

Jews have done more to advance science, industry, literally all human endeavor, than any other ethnic or religious group in our entire history and they're still doing it. It's their ability to survive and prosper under the worst of conditions that makes them so h**ed. The lazy and the stupid will always h**e those who are in fact superior to them, will always be jealous of them, will always want to take what they have.

So let's all show the world what geniuses we are, and spew out our hatred of Israel and Jews. Who wants to be first? :twisted:

I think I am going to have to disagree with you a little about the conservative side hating the Jews so much. Most of the Jew hating is on the lefts side from what I have seen. Maybe I have missed a few posts that you are talking about.

I have never h**ed the Jews and never will. I don't h**e any race just for the sake of hating a race, but there sure are people that I despise.

While he did use some of the tenants of Christianity and Judaism, they were very loose t***slations of them. He only used the parts he liked and threw out the rest. Most of it was based on the moon god allah. Anything he stole from other religions he rewrote to make himself more important and to make sure his followers gave him everything HE wanted, or else.

As for Christianity being based on Judaism, I have no argument with that and I have no argument with the Jews. The only Jews I dislike are the corrupt ones and that is true of any race or group of people, not just the Jews.

Mohammad based Islam on the Old Testament, which is all from Judaism. Christianity is also based on the Old Testament, along with a lot of post-Jesus writings comprising the New Testament. Neither religion would exist at all if it were not for Judaism. Mohammad started with the Old Testament, with Abraham, Moses and Joseph figuring prominently in Islam as Prophets.

I don't know when antisemitism began. If you differenciate anti semitism from anti Judiasm, the former began in France around 1880. Read Constantine's Sword by James Carrol, a Christian scholar. He documents the Catholic Church's war against the Jews. The state of Israel is needed now as much as ever. It was created to be a refuge for Jews around the world.

Amongst the conservative h**ers, it's more of the old line paleo cons like Pat Buchanan who believe that if we threw the Jews under the bus, the Islamists will be sufficiently appeased to leave everyone else alone. He doesn't exactly use those words, he certainly implies that by his tone.

It's true that Pat Buchanan has no great love for his Jewish brethren. I think that is in part a legacy of the old Cathoilic Church. I say old because they have completely changed, and now have excellent relations with Jews. I'm not saying all Catholics are antisemetic, but some people have traces of this old left over prejudice and I believe that Buchanan is an example.
