I listened to their speeches.

I noticed two things. Mostly generic. Of course Harris had to pump the woman minority thing, but beyond that, it was mostly generic. Could have come from Pence. Thank you we love America and all of our workers. You get the idea. And there was a huge roar from the crowd after almost every sentence. All right, they're happy.

Then Joe came out. I had radio so I didn't see it. Was there a teleprompter? Just Curious. But he started out with the usual generic type of speech. Trump probably could have said almost the same thing through much of the speech. Like I said, generic. And the crowd roared after every sentence. Then something funny started to happen. Something was said and the roar was about half, then a few more and the roar got down towards a purr. And then long stretches with no roar or purr. Finally it ended. What was with that. They would have roared after every sentence for Trump if he spoke for an hour. But this just sort of died out.

So, I'm just curious. Did anyone also hear or actually see that? It made me think that they weren't really into him, or what he had to say, and were getting bored. They were just happy Trump was gone. And he is going to bring the country together?

Why would I need to listen. You knew what he and she would say. They preempted the top football game for that BS.

I was making dinner and that just happened to be on. But I still think the point of his applause dying out was interesting. Did he put them to sleep?

It's just the media calling it .. and biden/harris claiming it ... there is nothing "official" about it. They want to get the narrative going, hoping it will make it more difficult to turn the ship around if there is a change in outcome. It will be much more difficult for the biden/harris v**ers to accept because they will think it's already done, and the media will chime in about the injustice of it all.

It was just the opposite in 2000 in the Bush v. Gore fight ... with Bush claiming he would win but the media doing everything they could to push back on that and to insist that we would not know until the recounting and the court battles were over.

The e*******l college thingy is decided by the outcome of the state e******ns. The day e*****rs go against the popular outcome is the day there is no point in having an e******n at all, just let the legislature pick them according to their biases and save the trouble of e******ns.

Do you know what actually went on in Gore v Bush? A totally illegal move according to Florida rules was made, Florida courts struck it down as they should have, and the supreme court went where it has no business and made the wrong call on all counts, stopping a recount that went Gore's way. After Gore had conceded it actually was determined that he had won.

... that's the story according to those who desperately wanted gore to win ... "where [SCOTUS] has no business and made the wrong call on all counts" sounds pretty much like a personal opinion or l*****t journalists' collective interpretation of events ...
