The way I see it, TRUMP was too nice due to the fact that when he came into office he didn't dispose of the top third of all the bureaucracies. He gave Seasons free reign not realizing that Sessions had no clue on how to handle the DOJ. Trump watched while Sessions appointed enemies of the state to represent the state. After Seasons ran his course, Trump failed to realize that Barr & Durham were just stabbing him in the back. Trump brought his demise on himself by being a nice guy. A lot of the public could see this playing out. Nice guys don't win fights.

Trump has never been a nice guy he wasn't nice when he sexually assaulted 22 women nor rapeing a 13 year old. He wasn't nice when he braged about grabbing women by the privates

He wasn't nice as he refused to pay his contractor's for work done.
