You won, but more like Trump lost. So, don't get to into yourself. He had the fervent crowds. You didn't. He also had more enemies and Media and Social Media and billionaires against him. You won the primary because all of the other candidates were so far left. You said you were a Centrist. Now be it. Those on the left expect you to jump on their agenda. Don't. The Republicans still own the Senate and can block so much of what you want. And America is mostly in the middle and doesn't want that radical left wing agenda. That is why you won your party's primary. Remember all of those fervent Trump supporters. They don't want a l*****t agenda. Pelosi is already getting an agenda ready to remove you and put Harris in the White House. She has already been acting like she will be the president. Your best hope for longevity and a decent legacy is to really be that Centrist and work with the Republicans to cement a Centrist functioning government in your early days. Cabinet picks and so many other government picks especially those that are needed with Senate consent. Remember, the Senate can pick a Supreme Court Judge by 52-48 and they can stop one by 52-48. McConnell will work with a Centrist. America is in the middle. We do want a lot of what Trump wanted and accomplished. Work on balanced, bipartisan bills on Immigration, Health Care, Taxes, etc. Remember, the Republicans made many gains despite huge amounts spent to take them out. If you don't work with them or cave to the extremists in your party, there will be a huge Red Wave in two years and the end of you getting anything done. Otherwise you will be a small asterisk in history.
