Tell them to start saving for later NOW. It may be too late now, but at least they can give it a try just in case it's not. My advice is for them to start with a Roth IRA. I told my own son about it 16 years ago and he has close to a million now. It may not matter if we go Socialist and he has to give it up, but it is something for them to look forward to if it IS allowed for them to keep it.
