With what exploded yesterday and more today, Biden should be resigning real soon. Wonder who will declare themselves the Democratic Candidate for President now ?

I'm guessing there would have to be another Democratic National Convention. Normally, to become the p**********l nominee, a candidate typically has to win a majority of delegates, which is then confirmed through a v**e of the delegates at a national convention. (If no candidate gets the majority of a party's delegates during the primaries and caucuses, convention delegates choose the nominee.) So I suspect that if Biden died or couldn't run suddenly, the DNC delegates would get together and choose a nominee. Since they have a little more than a week do do so right now....I wonder if they could delay a general e******n? Trump's term ends on January 20, so it would be interesting to see how they would resolve something like this before then. I suspect the Supreme Court would be involved....but that's another kettle of fish! It sure would be major chaos.

If the Democrats c***t their way into the Oval office, Biden will resign right after the new term starts and the full c*******t vice president will take over. The USA will become a subsidiary of China, and many people who are Republicans and FREE MARKET CAPITALISTS will be put in wor camps. Stalin used that technique as has China and todays Democrats honor that behavior.

Triumph with Trump

If Biden drops out, all of those early v**es for him are lost. No do overs allowed.

Triumph with Trump

I think Dem party rules are that dem Nat committee selects if a pres. Candidate vacancy occurs after the convention period.

All of that is interesting to contemplate, but I am more nervous about what happens if Nancy Pelosi is president for even 1 day-as speaker, she is third in line, and if the e******n is not called before Trump's term is finished, that is what we get, since Biden/Harris-or Harris/Biden would not be president or VP elect if it were not decided yet. Now THAT is scary!

I've conquered my fear and dread.
If we get Biden\Harris or Pelosi...fine.
If that's what the majority of Americans want those outcomes...they deserve it.
Our side deserves it to because we did not do our job.

There would be no reason to delay the e******n. The Dem's could select a candidate in 5 minutes to replace Joe and since Kamala was chosen for VP she should get the nod and let her pick a running mate. There internal problem is not our problem although I'm sure they'd cry that it should be.

I agree in principle, but when they cannot or will not see what is likely, then there is nothing we could do. Some people simply will not listen-it is kind of like a child holding his fingers in his ears and singing :Tra La La La, until you stop talking. So while it may be that they deserve the leaders we get, we also must suffer along with them. Perhaps more because we see it and see it coming-at least they were blissfully ignorant for a time. I have many in my family who fit that description and you finally stop beating a dead horse, and walk away.

I fully agree. Still we all lose except for the c****e heirarchy and some of them will be done in by their own kind.
I still think we can stop them...can.
