Why does the Republican Party consider the Capitol Hill baseball shooting to have been worse than the kidnapping plot against Gretchen Whitmer?
Easy: because Gretchen Whitmer is a Democrat, and Donald Trump doesn’t like her very much (mostly because she disagrees with his behaviour and actions).

The modern Republican Party has been subverted by the Trumpublicans, and what Donald Trump does not like, his supporters do not like. Frankly, he’d have been quite happy if Whitmer had been kidnapped and murdered, and since many of his supporters have advocated that or worse for her and her fellow Democrats, we can’t be surprised.

So much for “Law and Order”, huh?

You misunderstood, they meant "we make the law and you follow our orders".

So let's see...somebody ACTUALLY being shot and almost k**led is equal to a plot that was foiled? RIIIGHT.

Possibly they consider the shooting worse because it actually took place, whereas the kidnapping was foiled...

I do not need to read in detail you rant. It is very obvious. There are tens or hundreds of billions of dollars damaged by your B*MS and A****AS, MS Gang13, all over democrat cities, namely NYC, Portland, San Francisco, Los Angeles, and many other cities in California, Seattle, Baltimore, Minneapolis, Chicago, and so many other democrat cities involved. In addition to thousands of law enforcement officers k**led and thousands more injured. In addition to k*****g of innocent people, knocked them down young, old, and disabled, knocked down by black thugs. I saw that in NYC particularly.

And yet you come in defense of these people? What kind of common sense do you have?

Let's face it, Democrats will give no quarter, even when confronted with incontrovertible evidence that a crime was committed. It gets to be very frustrating, doesn't it.

They probably consider the shooting worse because the Republican victim survived.

Frosty, don't you think that's a pretty horrible thing to say about someone when you don't have the foggiest idea what he's thinking. There is no way you could know. But of course that has never stopped a Democrat from making similar proclamations. I am glad that we conservatives don't make wild and unsubtantiated statements such as that.

it may indeed be a horrible thing to say.. but darn, it is a horrible day up at the top of the nation... 20 degrees colder than average.. 5" of snow and still falling.. darn I am not even ready to carve pumpkins, let alone chop hard water to try and catch some winter crappie..

Besides, I am getting to the point of "I don't give a darn" one way or the other.. seems we are near finished with the "age of America" and no matter our best efforts that will not be changed..

They look like a type of mushroom called brownie cap.
Of course, I'm not familiar with all kinds of mushrooms.

Interesting... The intention was likely the same, the death of an opponent. Any idea the ratio of foiled crimes to completed? Just because they foolishly let the cat out of the bag during the plotting stage should have no impact on the severity nor depravity of their intentions.

Another thing to consider is why not commit the murder at the scene rather than kidnap and risk failure due to potential impediments imposed by the increased time frame between first publicly known criminal act and commission of the murder? One possibility would be that ransom was the desired outcome, but then it just becomes a crime for financial gain, that doesn't seem likely as it seemingly has been unilaterally acknowledged that it was supposed to have been in support of Trump, the financial gain would cheapen the message. Another potential reason is possibly to conceal the fate of the mayor, eliminates the message. To avoid murder charges by k*****g the mayor at a less public location, doesn't a federal kidnapping charge carry a life sentence? Not much of a motive there. There is a much more disturbing possibility, torture and possible public display (likely via the internet) of the k*****g of the mayor, likely in a grotesque and painful manner, possibly to make a very threatening message to all other "Enemies of Trump" about what their own fates could be if they don't "make nice". Of the possibilities, that one seems the most probable sadly.
