It's actually easier than that, way easier... simply discuss and hold a v**e on the bills that the house passes and let the chips fall where they may. Each senator gets to v**e according to how his or her constituency will want them to, it's why they are elected.
That is not giving what dems want if enough republicans choose to v**e for a bill regardless of how many oppose it. This my friend is how democracy works, and how the senate has broken democracy...enough, time for it to end as it has in the house...

Because most of those bills are EXACTLY LIKE the one's Pelosi is supporting for the latest stimulus! Filled to the brim with Democratic wish-lists for their OWN constituents, not for ALL AMERICANS! That is WHY the founders designed our Government as they did, so that there would be checks & balances! Dem's only want it one way...their way!

And I think she is so determined to make sure that President Trump does not get another win before the e******n that she put her Christmas list items in the bill knowing that would put the kibosh on it in the Republican controlled Senate. She doesn't really want any stimulus bill to pass if it will make President Trump look good, and she doesn't give a rip about how much her actions might be hurting the American people. But, hey, as long as nancy gets what nancy wants. That's all she is about.
