Then peace will guide our planet. Obviously not a sing-a-long by our history, even if we let the sunshine in. The fact that we have so many conflicts and h**es has shocked me since I was just a teenager. It is insane. At any point almost in our existence from the Dawn of Civilization I could start with my incredulity at the cruel inhumanity and stupidity of war we perpetrate against ourselves and family, Bruce Catton's "The Civil War" started it. There were actually pictures in the book of the horror.

Prior to that book, the deadly and endless wars I learned in school were just questions to answer on History tests; no real body count, no real harm, a TV show. Could be a Grimm's Fairy Tale. But I woke at thirteen to the reality. My older brother had that book on his chic coffee table collection, along with another book that shocked and awed me: The Impressionists. Highly evocative to me. What we can achieve and what we can destroy.

We are mad, it appears. Yet secession or combat against others is always close on our minds. I mention this now because we may find ourselves in this nation embracing such things. Crazy stuff we talk about like an innocuous cooking recipe. K*****g others, disrupting our government, endangering our family and friends, threatening the future of this country, and all that taking second chair to aggression. Berserk!

The results of open immigration policy.
Society is a reflection of the people, as is government.
If we'd have closed the door in '98, we'd not have these issues today.
