Something To Think About... 

Today I woke up and as I had my morning coffee, I realized that everything is about to change. No matter how I v**e, no matter what I say, something evil has invaded our nation, and our lives are never going to be the same.

I have been confused by the hostility of family and friends. I look at people I have known all my life--so h**e-filled that they agree with opinions they would never express as their own.

You can't justify this insanity. We have become a nation that has lost its collective mind!

• If a guy pretends to be a woman, you are required to pretend with him.

• Somehow it’s un-American for the census to count how many Americans are in America.

• Russians influencing our e******ns are bad, but i******s v****g in our e******ns are good.

• It was cool for Joe Biden to "blackmail" the President of Ukraine, but it’s an impeachable offense if Donald Trump inquires about it.

• Twenty is too young to drink a beer, but eighteen is old enough to v**e.

• People who have never owned s***es should pay s***ery r********ns to people who have never been s***es..

• People who have never been to college should pay the debts of college students who took out huge loans for their degrees.

• Immigrants with tuberculosis and polio are welcome, but you’d better be able to prove your dog is v******ted.

• Irish doctors and German engineers who want to immigrate to the US must go through a rigorous vetting process, but any illiterate gang-bangers who jump the southern fence are welcome.

• $5 billion for border security is too expensive, but $1.5 trillion for “free” health care is not.

• If you c***t to get into college you go to prison, but if you c***t to get into the country you go to college for free.

• People who say there is no such thing as g****r are demanding a female President.

• We see other countries going Socialist and collapsing, but it seems like a great plan for us.

• Some people are held responsible for things that happened before they were born, and other people are not held responsible for what they are doing right now.

• Criminals are caught-and-released to hurt more people, but stopping them is bad because it's a violation of THEIR rights.

• And pointing out all this hypocrisy somehow makes us "r****ts"?!

Nothing makes sense anymore, no values, no morals, no civility and people are dying of a Chinese v***s, but it's r****t to refer to it as Chinese even though it began in China. We are clearly living in an upside down world where right is wrong and wrong is right, where moral is immoral and immoral is moral, where good is evil and evil is good, where k*****g murderers is wrong, but k*****g innocent babies is right.Wake up America, the great unsinkable ship Titanic America has hit an iceberg, is taking on water and is sinking fast.  Speak up!

Reading your post brings to mind one of the main prophesies regarding the End Times: 2 Timothy 3:1-5
"But understand this, that in the last days there will come times of difficulty. For people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, proud, arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, heartless, unappeasable, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not loving good, treacherous, reckless, swollen with conceit, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having the appearance of godliness, but denying its power. Avoid such people."

This certainly describes this current generation of teenagers and college students. I sure wouldn't want to have to raise a child today!

At almost 90, I simply can't do physically more than defending my wife, my home and myself. But there are many others that can, and should step forward now!

Well I'm 66 and I can help keep a lid on my apartment complex. That's around 1,500 people counting children. I need to let the apartment manager know to call me if she or a tennate needs assistance. I need a map of the complex too so I can learn my way around and the shortest distance from point A to B. There are about three golf carts for maintenance and showing apartments. Maybe I can use one. I can't scoot like I once could. And their are three entrances and exits. But I used to be a cop and I still know procedures for making an arrest and pat-downs. Still have my cuffs. May need maintenance for some plastic ties. Never made a citizens arrest before. I just hope no rookie cops show up and shoots my butt.

I wish I could be as useful At 71, and having had a stroke , and a CABG x 4, my mobility is quite limited and my right hand is very shaky. I could never fire a gun or rifle accurately. If I aimed straight ahead, you'd be safer standing in front rather than behind me. But I bet I could clobber an intruder with my cane.

I'm not getting any younger so my day is coming soon. I'm probably a little on the hard headed side and fighting admitting it. My brain and heart are winning right now over my common sense. I think I have one more good fight left in me. I could be very wrong. I just hope I don't get in any hand to hand stuff. My wind would last about a minute and I'd be out of gas. But I've never seen anyone take a 45 and keep coming. With my 9mm I might try one in center mass and one in a shoulder.

I caught a kid climbing through a window once. He turned around to shut the window and saw me. I caught him about 20 feet out the front door and cuffed him. Turned around and his little gangster buddies of about 10 teenagers and two adults were headed my way and not happy. I told them to stop and the kid was going to jail.

They took a few more steps and were talking smack. Then I pulled my gun and they froze and shut up for a moment. I whistled and my K-9 partner appeared by my side and grinned at them and did that deep low growl of his. That turned the tide and they kept talking smack as I put him in the car. I don't have a partner now. I feel a little naked.

Swung by the next day to show them one, I wasn't afraid and two, to check on the home owner and see if anything was stolen. She was very happy I locked one of them up and nothing had been stolen. A very good feeling, serving and protecting, I never lost it. Not even being around ugly, hairy legged, inmates. But my blowing and going days are over. Now I'm better at being a keyboard warrior. But I still smoke my buddies when we go shooting. It's really fun when I outshoot the younger guys. There is one who I think, lets me win. I h**e that feeling. But he swears I beat him and I think he's lying like a rug. I may borrow a scope and spy on him one of these days. No rush though.

On shooting, I do very well at 75 feet with a 9mm handgun, and much longer with my 9mm Carbine, 10 shot groups I can cover with my hand. Lately, however, two or three shots seem to wander off target, and I get tired and winded after about 30 rounds. It is probably good enough for home defense! But I also have a 12 gage handy!

Excellent, as long as your aware of your surroundings and hearing is good you should be fine. Plus, I'm sure your on good terms with your neighbors and you guys look out for one another. Dogs are the best early warning system there is, even ankle biters don't like strange noises at night. Chihuahuas have the most irritating bark to me and I've had several and they always woke me up when something was up. Usually kids walking the street late at night and talking too loud or a night critter of some type. Nothing beats the sound of a shotgun being racked in the dark. People tend to sing out fast. I ran across the new Springfield 9mm Hellcat looking for a better CCW. And it looks very sweet. Lighter, shorter, and holds more rounds. I plan on checking it out soon.
