Today's Democrats don't appoint justices based on their Constitutional expertise, they appoint political activists.

Look at the requirements for a Supreme Court Justice. There are no requirements at all. I think if you are breathing you qualify.

This is true, but since these justices are supposed to be Constitutionalists, there is no place on the Court for activists of either party's political persuasion -- their job is to rule on constitutionality, not on "how they feel" about an issue at hand.
The Democrats appoint activists where they can, the farther left the better, whereas Trump nominates originalists as the founders intended to have on the Court.
When Hillary lost in the primaries to Obama and then agreed to throw her dubious weight behind his campaign, I believe she was hoping he would nominate her for the next justice slot -- can you imagine Hillary as an associate justice on SCOTUS? -- so she would have an influential position for life, but he didn't want anyone that self-seeking and downright treacherous in that position, so he made her SecState, from whence she was instrumental in making millions of dollars for both of them, much more useful to his own corrupt ambitions.

Bullcrap...his first pick would be Merrick Garland, a slightly right leaning republican centrist with an absolutely sterling record for adhering to the laws and precedents.
..and dem supreme court "packing" (which will happen by the way) will be tightly defined centrists with long judicial histories, judges that will have full approval from the BAR. They will not be liberal, although the right sees anything toward the center from their hard right religiously driven judges as liberals in comparison.

As right of center as, say, Sonya Sotomayor?

Agree. However the first politicians of our country did not see politics as their career. Businessmen and farmers they were. Today that is no longer the case. Colleges teach political science as a career activity. It is truly time for this nation to put a maximum amount of time a person can spend in ‘public service’. We are getting a group that equates to the royalty and dictators of the rest of the world. Politicians should also be paid no more than the mean salary of the district they represent. If they leave office much richer than when they were elected they should be vigorously investigated.
Send those turds on a 1 way sabattical to Gitmo.

I've been a strong advocate of term limits for a long time. Politics shouldn't be a career field, if for no other reason than the fact that the longer someone stays in Washington, the more he/she loses touch with the realities of life in the private sector and prioritizes his/her political career over the well-being of the people.
The founders didn't want a ruling class.

This is about as good as it gets!
You have the right ingredients for a successful recipe if one accurately measures and steadily stirs the pot.

Just what we need, more social injustice warriors polluting the court. Are they all African American lesbians or t*********red??

Sonya is even a r****t. She favored a person of color who scored lower on an exam and had lesser experience over a white man who scored higher and had greater experience in one of her "affirmative action" r****t vendetta's.

Gitmo will be filled with ovommit, Hitlery, the intelligence t*****rs and the deep staters before Trump ends his 2nd term. Send T*****r Joe's Supreme picks there too. Hard labor would be good for all of them.
