In total, the state filed 134 felony charges against the four defendants, including engaging in organized e******n f***d, illegal v****g, fraudulent use of an application for a mail-in b****t, unlawful possession of a mail-in b****t, tampering with a governmental record and e******n f***d.
Penalties range from six months in state jail to 99 years in prison.
Attorney General Ken Paxton released the following statement.
“It is an unfortunate reality that e******ns can be stolen outright by mail b****t fraud. E******n f***d, particularly an organized mail b****t fraud scheme orchestrated by political operatives, is an affront to democracy and results in v**er disenfranchisement and corruption at the highest level. Mail b****ts are vulnerable to diversion, coercion, and influence by organized v**e harvesting schemes. This case demonstrates my commitment to ensuring Texas has the most secure e******ns in the country, and I thank the Gregg County Sheriff and District Attorney for their continued partnership. Those who try to manipulate the outcome of e******ns in Texas must be held accountable.”
A grand jury returned indictments on 23 felony counts against Commissioner Brown, 97 felony counts against Marlena Jackson, eight felony counts against Charlie Burns and six felony counts against DeWayne Ward.
Democrat Operative Blows the Whistle on Massive Mail-In V****g Fraud Operation
A Democrat operative who worked covertly in a massive v***r f***d operation blew the whistle to New York Post reporter Jon Levine and revealed how Democrats will try to steal the 2020 e******n with their mail-in v**e scheme.
The insider revealed how Democrats rig e******ns by paying homeless v**ers, taking advantage of elderly in nursing homes, fraudulently posing as registered v**ers, printing up phony b****ts and actually removing real b****ts from envelopes and replacing them with counterfeit b****ts.
But for political pros, they’re a piece of cake. In New Jersey, for example, it begins with a blank mail-in b****t delivered to a registered v**er in a large envelope. Inside the packet is a return envelope, a “certificate of mail in v**er” which the v**er must sign, and the b****t itself.
The insider explained to Levine how he and his fellow operatives make phony mail-in b****ts by running b****ts through a copy machine.There’s no watermark or stamp on the b****ts, the insider said, but the return envelopes are impossible to recreate so they had to be collected — then his staff got to work tampering with the envelopes.
The operatives would knock on doors and collect completed b****ts by convincing v**ers they would mail them on their behalf.
The operatives would then take the sealed envelopes and hold them over boiling water, “You have to steam it to loosen the glue,” said the insider. They would remove the b****ts then replace them with the counterfeit b****t and reseal the envelope. The whistleblower told Jon Levine that sometimes postal employees are in on the s**m.

Data from the U.S. E******n Assistance Commission and the E******n Administration and V****g Surveys for both the 2016 and 2018 e******ns show that 16.4 million b****ts that were sent to registered v**ers by mail went missing, according to Breitbart News.
In the 2018 e******n, about 42.4 million b****ts were mailed to registered v**ers. Of those mailed, more than 1 million were undeliverable, more than 430,000 were rejected, and nearly 10.5 million went missing.
