We were once the world's hope, a place of refuge and comfort for the oppressed and broken masses. A dream for all humanity of opportunity and safety and freedom. Now we have barbed wire and No Trespassing signs surrounding this promise and hope. Keep Out! It has become a camp of survivalists and storm troopers. The plight of humanity for those suffering great hardships and privation, the threat of imprisonment and death by their governments for wanting liberty, of no concern. America First! Screw what we once stood for! Trump has made us an angry mob, replete with pitchforks and torches.
