Don Lemonade & Chris Cuomo

Yesterday, Don Lemon had an exchange with Chris Cuomo stating that the Democrats should pack SCOTUS and eliminate the E*******l College and if they don’t get their way to burn it all down. Some people are saying cut his some slack and not take the statement literally.

I don't cut him any slack and hold him to his word. Did he or any progressive ever give those demonstrators in Charlottesville any slack? Did he and Cuomo or anyone at CNN, MSNBC ever give any conservative any slack? If anything, they will twist anything a conservative says into the vilest of r****m. Hold them to the same standards and prosecute them for incitement.

When I read The Constitution, it impressed me that it was entirely up to the states to determine how their e*****rs v**e; that it didn't even have to have an e******n. On NPR, several decades ago, some fellow said exactly that. The College was established to make sure that the large states did not have a disproportionate say in how the president was selected.

Personally, I've felt, for a long time that the best way for any state to determine how it v**es would be to have two go to the overall winner and each congressional district go to its winner. Maine does it that way but it is entirely up to the states themselves. The E*******l College is one of the last vestiges of truly functional federalism & I don't want to eliminate it.

Let's face it; those two are i***ts when it comes to the Constitution. They constantly interject their own bias in their newscasts.

They say things that sound like terroristic threats and should be cuffed and d**gged off the set.

Have to respectively disagree with this part.

>>>As I see it, that would eliminate Federalism or what is left of it. Gerrymandering of the districts would allow the dominate party to acquire more v**es then they deserve.

And to give the other two v**es to the National Winner takes away the power of the States. The Democrats already have gone on record as saying they want to require all of the States to v**e for the National winner. This seems to be exactly what the Founders wanted to prevent. It would lead to rule of 51 jamming anything they want down the throats of the 49 without any Checks and Balances. And in the last e******n, it would have
meant a swing of about 120 v**es or 60 less for Trump and 60 more for Clinton.

I would prefer that all states have a winner in the State gets all the v**es for that State. It gives each individual State it's maximum leverage. To require in any way that a States E*******l v**es are based on the v**es of another State(s) gives away your power to that other State(s)

Cheers

Cheers back but please realize two things: it would still be up to the individual state to determine how its v**es are distributed and two v**es would go to its winner, not the national winner.
