Yeah, Schumer says a lot of things, most of which are either irrelevant to anything important or contrary to anything that's good for America and Americans.

He's essentially Nancy Pelosi's ass boy.

When ever a vacancy on the SCOTUS occurs, it is the Duty of the President to put forth a nominee.

No "if", no "unless", no ambiguity whatsoever.

It is then the Senates Duty to "advise and consent".

They stiffed Obama’s choice, the seat was empty for a year until McConnell stole it.
I’m guessing the same rules on the crooked chit they pulled last should be the norm today right?????
Re write the constitution so the sitting president doesn’t get a pick.
If they can’t play by their own rules, what should we call them, carol ???

Those same senators sang a very different tune when they had something to gain from pushing a candidate through. McConnell didn't put it before the senate with Garland b/c Republicans had the majority, knew it wouldn't go anywhere, and it would have been a waste of time. Wasn't it bo that always reminded us "e******ns have consequences"?? Well if Schumer ran the SEnate back in 2016 they could have--and would have--moved ahead with the confirmation of Garland. If Schumer ran the Senate now, they would block any nominee even though they held an entirely different opinion in 2016. But he didn't then and he doesn't now. So I guess that's at least one thing bo was right about, no? E******ns have consequences.

And even more important, President Trump has had to spend far too much time dealing with obstructionists, 3 years of the time-wasting, money-wasting Russian h**x, the ridiculous trumped-up charges on the partisan impeachment fraud, etc., etc., etc. He ought to be given a fifth year anyway to make up for the i***tic pelosi-led House antics to stop him at every turn, if for no other reason than to teach them a lesson that the American people spoke on 2016, they work for the American people and they are expected to actually do something besides throw a 4-year temper tantrum.

Even so, his first term lasts four years and isn't up until January 20, 2021, (when he will be inaugurated again anyway) and he should be able to make wh**ever the hell decisions he wants to make up until his last day in office. After all, obama administration officials were, up until the last minute, busy unmasking people, writing last minute emails to themselves to provide cover for their sorry selves, spying on the incoming duly-elected President's administration, and attempting to set in motion a c**p attempt and grounds for impeachment before he was even sworn in. So it would appear that anything is fair game right now.

Schmuck Schumer would do wh**ever his bosses in the DNC tell him to do. He is quite possibly a more accomplished whore than Nancy Pelosi.

No after the e******n if Trump is really-elected as you say he will be then Trump can nominate anybody he wants so why not wait 45 days instead of being one of Trumps sarcastic d********g people. I love that you people are so ignorant that you support a guy that thinks you are d********g. But I agree with Trump on this issue you are d********g people.

Why pass on the opportunity? That's exactly what your party would do if you would admit it but I don't expect you to agree with that. Sorry for your luck, Air Head

Yeah, yeah, yeah ... the dems have already announced that they have plans to increase the number of Justices. They make loud public statements about it every time SCOTUS is deciding on controversial issues. Threats in an effort to sway their decisions. Apparently Roberts believes them.

The democrats will use wh**ever power they have to gain more power regardless. Wh**ever the Republicans do or do not do matters not. Their threats won't work on President Trump.
