Just bought the Henry repeating rifle in 30-30. Ammo is getting hard as hell to find. Had to by some 12 gauge 00 buck today. Had to go to four shops before I found any. All these dealers said they are swamped. If Beijing Biden comes for our guns I have a feeling he’s gonna have a fight on his hands.

My wife wants a Henry rifle really bad. She keeps saying 30-30, but we already have 2. A Marlin, and a '94 Winchester. If we get a Henry, I want .44 long colt.
I haven't checked on ammo lately though.
We already have enough to keep their heads down till the Apache helicopter finds us.

But Arch I e only got about 10,000 rounds. Course I do have forty double edge cross bow bolts.

I ain't Arch but to answer your question American ammo is usually measured in inches . A 30-30 for example is .30 of an inch across. The other 30 used to refer to grains of powder.
A Desert Eagle .50 is half an inch across, but don't get to hung up by the numbers . A 38 special and a .357 magnum have the same diameter (.355) but a different size cartridge.
