Michael Cohen's book, RAGE

I'm reading Michael Cohen's book about his years as Donald Trump's fixer, and pit bull, RAGE. A few observation's about the book:
1. Cohen has testified in Congress about his role in the Trump organization. He has admitted, illegal and immoral activity as Trump's personal lawyer. The first chapter of the book is really an apology and statement of extreme remorse for his activities as Trump's go to guy for dealing with business and political problems.
2. Trump is a narcissistic sociopath with absolutely no regard what so ever about the welfare of our country,
the American people, or it's ideals.
3. Trump's only concern is about making money. He uses his office for that purpose.
4. The reason for Trump's extreme admiration for Putin, is that he believes that Putin is the richest person in
the world. He has absolutely no problem with Putin's murder of opponents to his autocratic rule, and would love to duplicate Putin's dictatorship in the United States.
5. Donald Trump has no use for t***h. His only concern is what benefits him personally, t***h be damned.
6. Trump enjoys humiliating everybody close to him including his children.
7. As Trump's fixer, Cohen has intimidated, bullied and threatened those people he sees as in opposition to Trump's accumulation of wealth and power.
8. If not re elected, Trump will do anything and everything necessary to stay in power. No tactic is too low.
9. Trump is guilty of sexual assault of women, and has made sexual comments about female teenagers including Cohen's fifteen year old daughter.
10. Trump will not tolerate any criticism of himself by subordinates.
11. Trump is guilty of Russian collusion in his P**********l campaign. Cohen worked on this personally, as he did on Trump's other crimes.
12. Trump is a r****t, which is part of the reason for his hatred of President of Obama. The other reason for Trump's hatred of Obama is that Obama is everything that Trump isn't. He graduated from a top university with high honors, and is eloquent.
13. Trump lied when he said that he had no business interests in Russia. In reality, Trump has been trying to build a Trump Tower in Moscow for decades. Cohen admits being involved in efforts to make it happen.
These are just a few of Cohen's revelations. He has testified in Congressional hearings, and has been found guilty of lying to Congress, in past appearances He has accepted three years prison for his this crime. At he end of the book, Cohen presented written evidence of all his charges against Trump.
While Mary Trump can be questioned about her book ,( although I believe her) on the grounds that she holds a personal grudge against her uncle for making sure that Trump had her disinherited, and kept that money, Cohen has no such reason to engage in his admission of wrongdoing. I absolutely believe that Michael Cohen is telling the unvarnished t***h. He has no reason not to, and indeed every reason to continue his service to Trump.
I recommend this book to every American that intends to v**e in the coming P**********l e******n, whether they be Democrats or Republicans. Read this book. As Trump has said many times, what do you have to lose?

Michael Cohen was broken by anti-Trump swamp critters at the FBI for his own personal legal aberrations, and seems to have developed some form of Stockholm Syndrome.

I wouldn't put any stock in anything a sellout louse who went from trying to save his own worthless skin to trying to cash in on anything he can because he's ruined his own prospects publishes.

But for desperate Democrats whose entire anti-Trump campaign is based on the baseless, I suppose it's any port in a storm.

Seth, Cohen has admitted his part in the Trump debacle. He doesn't deny anything he did. In fact, he admits many things that he was never accused of. He expresses remorse many times throughout the book. In the first few chapters, he explains how he became a dedicated Trump head priest of the cult. He uses the word" cult " throughout the book. He presents written evidence of everything he claims.
I don't understand how you can criticize a book that you haven't read. I came to many of the same conclusions about Trump without reading Mary Trump's book, John Bolton's book or Michael Cohen's RAGE. All three authors knew Trump intimately. They all agree that Donald Trump is a sociopath. I am about to start Bob Woodward's book which is based on nineteen interviews. Would you like to deny Bob Woodward's book before you read it also? Read the Cohen book, then we can discuss it intelligently.

Wolf, Another middle school comment. You really shouldn't comment on something, unless you have something intelligent to say, which I doubt. If you know how to read, I suggest you read the Cohen book , if for no other reason than not to look stupid and infantile.

Ever see first hand what can be "accomplished" when interrogators have the will and the interference-free legal power completely at their disposal, coupled with a weak minded subject who has enough personal skeletons?

Did you watch the progressively more beaten down look Cohen had as the browbeating and threats continued?

I'm sorry there, chum, but I've seen the product, again first hand, of the kind of treatment Cohen was subjected to in countries where the security aparat and the prosecution staff were one and the same. Obama's acolytes in our justice hierarchy were just as ruthless and single minded when they broke Cohen, and any actual facts about Trump and his businesses played second fiddle to "nailing" him for anything they could.

I wouldn't credit anything that Cohen has to say at this point, regardless of whether it was pro or anti Trump or anyone else.

Those assholes essentially took him apart and reassembled him in their own desired image.

The same variety of extremes the left employed when they pulled their early morning storm trooper style raid and arrest on a man they knew to be aging and physically harmless.

You do remember Roger Stone?

If Trump's FBI did the same things to an associate of a Democrat, whether it was what was done to Cohen or what was done to Stone, you and the rest of the pack would be screaming bloody murder and yelling about a police state, so kindly can the false sincerity.

Stone is one of the worst criminals in the history of p**********l politics. I found it interesting when Stone recently advised Trump, to take over the US government if he lost the e******n. Pecker is another one of Trump's criminal buddies, as is everybody in Trump's inner circle that I know about. Can you think of anybody in Trump's inner cult that can be accused of being a decent human being? I sure can't.

No, actually being literally broken in every way. Once you do what they did to any human being, Cohen's present incarnation is the product.

What was accomplished was similar to the motives behind "reeducation" in the kind of totalitarian country you lefties seem to be advocating for, only done via constant browbeating, threats of prison and resulting misfortune to his family and essentially unending high pressure.

I know how that works because a) I had training in resisting such techniques and b) I've seen them used in countries where the governments hold the same amount of power over the people that you and the others who espouse your political views apparently want the US government to have over us.

Seth, strange how it is only the right wingers chanting this refrain.. when ever one of the trump pack speaks out against trump we here the same desperate excuses about corrosion and pressure and breaking the persons mind.. BS... this is a chance of a guy, who was tossed under the bus to get back some cash and maybe even a little revenge.. those things are the bread and butter of trumpism..

and you know that well..

There you go with L*****t deflection again. I posted about the way Stone was taken into custody, you didn't want to go there because even you know it was totally uncalled for and totally against the sensibilities of any American -- imagine if it was done to you, simply because you were associated with some people's political opposition.

So you did the l*****t thing and changed the subject to what a heinous, lethally dangerous criminal you imagine Stone to be.

I don't know where in Queens you're from, but when I grew up in Forest Hills back in the 1960s and early 70s, we were raised to be plain spoken, not become evasive when a conversation wasn't headed where we wanted it to go.

Of course, we were also common sense people; my friends and I were all raised Democrat, but having brains, we all saw, each on his or her own, when the Democratic Party ceased being the Democratic Party we grew up with and mutated into a corrupt, malevolent left wing force that not only no longer has any respect for the Constitution, the rule of law or any of the values that have made America the greatest country in history.

And we all stopped v****g Democrat. I learned early, during the Carter screw-up Administration, others learned as late as Obama's era. But we all came around to recognizing the t***h.

Too bad you haven't.

Seth, In the last pages of the book, Cohen describes his treatment at the hands of the Southern District of New York Federal court. I was shocked. Evidence was seized by the FBI and never seen again, Crimes were committed by the prosecutors in order to convict him and more. I don't know whether to believe him or not, but I wouldn't put it past the feds.

The feds who "succumbed" to Obama's weaponizing of various agencies for political purposes took a long time after Trump was sworn in to be purged. They were essentially acting on orders they could have objected to on the grounds both of Constitutionality and decency, but they didn't.

Agents in the counter-espionage arena know how to do a lot of immoral things that they aren't legally permitted to do and generally don't, but in Cohen's case did -- they should be prosecuted and lose their pensions over it, but they won't.

I'm not saying this as a political view, but as an American who doesn't like to see other Americans treated thus by our own government. I wouldn't bat an eye over a foreign or d******c t*******t getting that and worse, but not someone being "given the works" for internal partisan political expediency.

Had Cohen simply been some crooked lawyer who had nothing to do with Trump or anyone else on the Democrats political s**t list, they wouldn't have destroyed him the way they did.
