Dan Rather is the Godfather of f**e news.
In 2004, Rather tried to swing the P**********l E******n to John Kerry with a phony story about George W. Bush going AWOL from the Texas Air National Guard during the Vietnam War.
Now Dan Rather is getting back on the act by making this unbelievable prediction about the 2020 e******n.
In an appearance on MSNBC, Rather attacked Donald Trump and his supporters.
This is not surprising.
After CBS News fired Rather over using forged documents in the George W. Bush AWOL story, Rather began to publicly confirm what everyone already suspected – that he was a liberal political operative pretending to be a newsman.
Rather cast the 2020 e******n as a contest between tolerance and w***e s*******y.
In the interview, Rather also seized on the false claim made by many in the F**e News Media that President Trump misled the public about the severity of the c****av***s p******c.
“What this p**********l e******n is about is whether the country’s going to move more in the direction of w***e s*******y or move more in the direction of a multiracial, constitutional republic based on the freedom and the democracy [sic]. That’s the proper frame, in which we now should put this e******n given what the president says, what he’s been doing — this long list of things. No sense going through the litany, but, you know, he knew in early February how serious the c****av***s was, but he repeatedly misled the American people. He said using an excuse and a lie, he didn’t want to spread panic,” Rather told MSNBC.
Rather also insulted the intelligence of Trump supporters claiming the e******n would come down to how people were “dumb enough” to believe President Trump.
“Well, throughout his entire presidency and particularly during this p**********l re-e******n campaign, he’s been trying to get people panicked,” Rather added. “Panicked about dangerous people moving into the suburban neighborhood, panic over immigration. He’s asking us to believe that when it came to the c****av***s, he just didn’t want to spread panic. Anybody who believes this will believe that rocks grow, and we’re going to find out how many people are dumb enough to believe that. I’d like to think that most people in the country recognize it for what it is, and that is an excuse, and it’s a lie, and it’s outrageous, and it’s very dangerous.”
Rather’s entire career was built on treating the public as if they were stupid.
His f**e act of being a newsman while acting as a Democrat shill depended on Rather believing the public could not see what was really going on.
That abruptly ended when Rather tried to use f**e documents to bring down President Bush.
