The crimes that were perpetrated, many on a scale of treason and s******n by high government officials, involved the upper echelons of several agencies as well as cabinet members, senators and representatives and a president.

What may appear "cut and dried" to anyone who knows little or nothing about investigation and the legal steps, "crossing the t's and dotting the i's," so that some sharp defense attorney can't punch any holes in the prosecution and get defendants off on some minor point in the rules of evidence or some legal technicality is a painstaking process under normal circumstances, and this isn't normal. This is the most extensive act of treason, abuse of power and constitutional violation in the history of this country, and Barr & Co. don't want to blow it. From their point of view, there's more here than just that which is of interest to the American people, there is also a selfish incentive: if they prosecute this attempted c**p d'etat successfully, convicting a former president, SecState, CIA director, AG and the rest, their names will be remembered for decades to come or perhaps much longer in the legal profession. They will be able to write their own tickets in either high end law firms or academia and command large sums of money for speaking at universities and Law conferences.

If you think these people are going to do a rush job just to please a few impatient citizens and take a chance on screwing things up, think again.
