A Democratic Congressman speaks out
Congressman Bill Huizenga (HIGH-zen-guh) represents Michigan's 2nd Congressional District

You have to see this. From a Democratic Congressman and he's not too happy with Pelosi.
Pelosi tries to pull the wool over the taxpayer's eyes again.
Bill # HR 6800. This woman is pure evil!

Nancy Pelosi shouldn't be allowed to have anything to do with spending anyone's money other than the hundreds of millions she's pilfered during her pathetically corrupt career. Note the amount of money and the shenanigans used to prevent any intelligent discourse on the merits of the plan (as if there were any to begin with). G*******ts have too much control and they think America is a money tree that can be plundered with impunity. This must end NOW!

Is this the Bill Huizenger who is a Republican Representative from Michigan. If it is the same guy and he is talking about HR 6800, the entire amount of the appropriation for HR 6800 is $3 Trillion. He must be referring to some other bill if the amount going to foreign countries is $3 Trillion. The HEROES Act is designed to help Americans who are dealing with the aftermath of the c****av***s p******c. Most Republicans oppose it, making a clear case for not wanting to help struggling Americans.

Yeah they approve pay raises for themselves but not funds for struggling victims of the v***s. They were just as good in responding to the needs of first responders from 9/11.

Yes, you are correct, the Republican Senate is currently holding up the bill, passed by the House, that is specifically targeted at helping struggling victims of the c****av***s.

The Senate has a relief bill to help people struggling because of the c****a v***s. It's about $1trillion, Pelosi's bill is $3trillion and most of that is for a liberal wish list that they can't pass any other way. Why can't the Democrats do the relief bill that the Republicans have proposed and then come back with another supplemental bill for the other items?

Good point, it may have to do with what they have piggybacking it, that is a underhanded practice that both do which they should eliminate.

Are we all grown up enough to allow money to go out to family's that have had a substantial cut of income, from lack of work or no work and not to people who haven't suffered at all and have been able to keep working as usual and who simply receive a big bonus check. Let's use our tax money wisely if we can only give with a limit.

I remember from back in the 70's, there was a proposal to limit amendments to a bill to items that are germaine to the bill. I don't remember who was pushing that, but it is something that should be done. Just as Ron Paul's suggestion that every bill contain a line stating where the Constitution grants Congress the authority to do that. Of course, things like that make sense to us ordinary citizens but the elites in government can never recognize the logic.

Why can't the House and the Senate come to a compromise and pass a bill everybody can feel comfortable with. I personally know people who are struggling to just get along. If is were possible to take the politics out of the deliberations, and direct the relief to the persons and businesses who need it the most, it would pass both branches of government. Just forget the political party you belong to and think about helping the people you represent.

Hey Cuda, mull this over for a while - how many govt workers have lost as much as 1 thin dime due to all this chi-com v***s crap? How many politicians from either party have? I can answer these questions with 1 word - NONE! Also, these scum bag politicians have no shame when they v**e themselves a pay raise - they should only be paid for the time actually spent in Washington. Our "conservative" governor (RINO), when she was reelected encouraged, then passed a $.10 per gal. gasoline tax, which was approved by our elected RINOs and demonrats. How many of these stellar, upstanding individuals spend their "hard earned" money on gasoline?? I'm sick and tired of the double standard and your dimacrats are no better, and I believe not as good, as my republicans.
Politicians from both partys are to blame for this mess in which we find ourselves. Neither you, or anyone else can blame President Trump for the violence we are witnessing. This crap started years ago, taking prayer and patriotism out of school and legalizing a******n. Demonrats praise a******n as "a women's right to choose" and that conservatives want a woman forced to have the baby, then refuse to support her and the baby. I throw the BS f**g on this, I have cousins who are currently raising their second generation grandchildren with welfare, food stamps, rent & utility subsidies, and cash payments. Yeah, these families have been abandoned (NOT) since the late 60s when these cousins started having babies without the benifit of a husband.
And this B*M (but not ALL black lives) and A****A (no one knows WTH these buffoons want) thuggery MUST be dealt with, and I mean with extreme prejudice.
I'm rambling...sorry - SGM B out
