Whitlock, the writer, really nails it when he points out the twitter/social media addiction.
These are people reacting, not thoughtfully responding, to what they are told by that device in their hand.
Their immediate gut-reaction is anger, before learning all of the facts. Wh**ever, that's their right. But, still, putting it on display to a mostly non-supportive paycheck-source is just plain stupid. I, for one, am done with hollywood and big-dollar sports.
