Who is delusional, No Rapture?


The referenced Mark13records.com, which you recommend, which is attributed to Biblical Research Labs.com, is, to say the least, unBiblical.

Claiming that the Tribulation will last five months instead of seven years, based on one verse, Revelation 9:5, which describes only one of the woes contained in the 5th trumpet, with woes both before and after it, is taken completely out of context:

Revelation 9:5 "And they were not permitted to kill anyone, but to torment for five months; and their torment was like the torment of a scorpion when it stings a man."

This is what your website turned that into:

"We know from Revelation 9 that the seven year tribulation of Satan, which is also known as the hour of temptation, has been shortened to a five month long period. We also know from Daniel 9:27, as well as other places, that Satan does not appear until the middle of that tribulation. The middle of a five month period is 2 ½ months into it. So then the time between the appearance of satan as antichrist at the sixth trumpet and the return of The True Christ at the seventh trumpet is only about seventy days. My point is, we don't have all that long of a wait before The True Christ returns."

Genesis 15:19 "the land of the Kenites, Kenizzites, Kadmonites,..."

Numbers 24:21 Then he saw the Kenites and spoke his message: "Your dwelling

Addendum regarding the Kenites:

According to the Hebrew Bible, the Kenites were a nomadic tribe in the ancient Levant. The Kenites were coppersmiths and metalworkers. They played an important role in the history of ancient Israel. One of the most recognized Kenites is Jethro, Moses' father-in-law, who was a shepherd and a priest in the land of Midian.

There are some who claim that the Kenites were descendants of Cain, due to the similarity between the Hebrew words translated "Cain" and "Kenite." However, unless someone in Noah’s family was a descendant of Cain, all of Cain’s descendants would have been wiped out in the Flood. Further, even if a member of Noah’s family was a descendant of Cain, there would be no way, post-Flood, for a distinct line of Cain to re-emerge. For example, if Ham’s wife was a descendant of Cain, all of Ham’s descendants would be descendants of Cain.

With that said, the important point is this: the Bible nowhere connects the Kenites with Cain.
