Me thinks Gov. Haley has a bigger set than all of those who occupy the House and the Senate. Oh..except for Nancy Pelosi, and Harry Reid, and Pat Leahy, and Bernie Sanders, and Dick Durbin , of course. This won't make The One happy. Only two men in history had their own symbols:Hitler and Obama.

I have to say that Obama has now taken on another state about Obamacare. I can't accept what that legislature is doing as anything but the right of the state as listed in Amendment 10. Somehow Obama and Holder don't see some of the words in that amendment. They fail to see that those powers now given the US nor denied to the states are reserved to the states. South Carolina is just doing what all the other 49 states should have done by now.

The expanded costs of ACA have been found to be over twice what was originally seen. I have recently read that Obama expects states to pay the newly revealed costs of ACA and South Carolina says they can't afford that or even want to try. These words tell me too much about this subject.

As the Washington Times recalls, South Carolina’s Republican governor, Nikki Haley, has already vowed to oppose ObamaCare’s expansion of Medicaid in her state, which she says doesn’t want it and can’t afford it, “not now, not ever.” That’s a very different level of resistance than passing a state bill that would largely nullify ObamaCare.

The video of Walter Williams talking as if lecturing a class really convinces one who is willing to accept what he says about the founders as he quotes one after another and especially the words of those trying for ratification in New York state. The best words he said in that subcommittee hearing were about those who want so badly to discredit what the Founders said and believed.

Of course, our major leaners here won't accept those words but I would certainly like to see one of them speak to how false the words of Madison, Jefferson and Hamilton were especially today. Of course, they would be speaking from the left side of things concerning today's thinking about the Constitution. Yep, they think that the living Constitution has died and states have no powers resulting from it.

Now Holder and Obama have been forced to handle South Carolina about the ACA, Kansas about their newest gun law, and other states about not wanting to be pushed around outside the words of the 10th Amendment. That part of the Constitution may well be more h**eful to THEM than even the 2nd.

I believe there was a movie called Clueless. That would be appropriate to our current "leadership."

I wish I could go along with the clueless word but I don't think they really are. They are in a hole now from their lying but I don't think they are clueless at all. The t***h, yeah but that is about all.

Yep, they know what they are doing and why. Sometimes I think it is we of the right who turn out a bit clueless.

 With all of the positions stated by government officials like Governor Haley, I have yet to see one official offer to show he or she is at the same level as the 99% of the country. Why shouldn't he be subject to the same healthcare the rest of us "enjoy?" He and his family have a lovely package of health care options v**ed on by the legislators and for the legislators.

Signed jc from New York City, one of the older citizens trying to survive with looming health care costs.

Right clueless? Yep. We (the right) have also become the takers, just like everybody else

I'm afraid they (legislators) belong to the "all animals are equal, only some are more equal" quote from a book I read long ago. And many people don't have much interest in political doings so getting away with greedy or self serving behavior is probably easy.

I agree that they (politicians) believe they are special. However as we pay virtually no attention to what they are doing or how it affects us until it does affect us WE are the problem. Look at the Bozo you folks have back there. Chuck Schumer? You have got to be kidding me. Has he ever done anything other than blow the progessive/democratic/liberal horn? What has he done for you? Nothing that I can tell. We (Colorado) are starting to realize the same problems you have had. A one party system (Dems) and it is starting to k**l this beautiful state.

George Orwell's Animal Farm was the book the quote was from.

All politics is local when it impacts you most and getting the locals excited about v****g and telling their legislators what's right or wrong about what they are doing takes time and patience. And the interest in what's going on politically.

When it comes to New York politicians, Schumer is relatively free from my annoyance level. My current black eye is reserved for the i***ts who are not only corrupt but stupid and clumsy in their corruption. They are not new at this game. They have been at it for many years and have readily been re-elected. Their corruption has been well known and tolerated by our New York legislature (both houses)

MayorBloomberg is finally stepping down and the race for the next mayor is shaping up to be a mud wrestling contest minus real mud.

All I know of Colorado politics is really old info. Visually it's a beautiful state. The state is going to sell marijuana and get money taxing it. Limited info from national internet news.

Do you know who Molly Ivins was?

I had forgotten from where the quote was from. marijuana is being sold now. Where I live it is the 2nd lowest property taxes in the country. As far as Schumer my personal opinion is he is a complete waste of air.
Our politics has turned into we tell you what to do..you do it. We know what is best for you. Too many libs..hell, they are all northeast libs. Time to return to Utah.

What's in Utah? Are you one of those cattle ranchers using public lands and arguing to shoot wolves who I strongly believe should be able to shoot back.
