Liberty, There are no Marxists that I know of in the Democratic Party. Bernie Sanders is a " democratic socialist". Thats the same kind of socialists that have been popular in countries like Sweden, Denmark and other European countries. They don't believe in a "dictatorship of the proletariat, they are fully law abiding and non revolutionary, they want a limited socialism, and most important, they leave office when defeated in an e******n.

maureen, I didn't have to read your post long before I came across some outrageous misstatements.
The USSR was a Marxist c*******t empire led by a totalitarian and murderous dictator. It has nothing in common with the democratic socialists, much less the Democratic Party.
The n**i party was in no way socialist. It named itself the German workers socialist party to attract the German workers. Actually they sought the backing of the German capitalists to gain power. I was a representative of my teachers union, and I can assure you that they certainly don't control the NEA. My NEA chapter actually supported gun ownership. They were not allowed to use the word, " strike " in the representative assembly.
