Actually, the African Grey Parrot can add and subtract better than most Democrats, has a great sense of humor, better than most l*****ts. Years ago I had a friend with an African Grey parrot which would wait until the three Great Danes were peacefully sleeping and then, in the owners voice yell "anyone want to go out and then as the three huge dogs dashed to the back door demanding to go out, the bird would rock back and forth on his perch laughing, exhibiting not only intentional activity but a much better sense of humor than any of the "progressives" on OPP ever have, I would even put the naked mole rat above the "progressives" in intelligence as they can manage a colony of up to 30 rats, teach the baby rats how to use one chamber of the colony quarters for defication and keep the rest of the dwelling clean of feces. That makes them better than the street dwellers in major Democrat cities who leave their feces where ever they want to, and then expect others to clean the area.

I had a liberal friend in California who had an African Grey Parrot, it was smarter than his lib wife, and one day she opens his cage and the back door and he was gone. lol

He nearly jumped out of his skin, clicked his flashlight off, and froze. When he heard nothing more, after a bit, he shook his head and continued. Just as he pulled the stereo out so he could disconnect the wires, clear as a bell he heard a voice say....“Jesus is watching you.”

Freaked out, he shined his light around frantically, looking for the source of the voice. Finally, in the corner of the room, his flashlight beam came to rest on a parrot. “Did you say that?” he hissed at the parrot. “Yep”, the parrot confessed, then squawked, “I’m just trying to warn you that he is watching you.” The burglar relaxed. “Warn me, huh? Who in the world are you?” “I'm Moses.” replied the bird. “Moses?” the burglar laughed. “What kind of people would name a bird Moses?”

The parrot replied, “The same kind of people that would name their Rottweiler Jesus.”

Excellent response. I will have to share that with our three Cane CorsoMastiffs, each about 135 pounds and the direct decendents of the Roman dogs of war At least that is what we tell everybody even though they are huge thy are also gentle which is why they make great therapy dogs for our work with abused boys.

I just looked up Cane Corso's and what BEAUTIFUL dogs!! And such a wonderful thing you are doing with them and the boys!!

I wonder if you've ever heard of the website "Explore.org"? (It's important to type the .org and not .com...two very different sites). They have webcams all over the world on just about every animal you can imagine.

One of their web cams is monitored by the Warrior Canine Connection (WCC), an accredited member of Assistance Dogs International (ADI). It has several web cams on the dogs they breed to help wounded warriers deal with PTSD and other problems. Here's part of a description of what they do (from their web cam page on Explore): "Warrior Canine Connection helps wounded warriors reconnect with life, their families, their communities, and each other. WCC’s program not only creates valuable service dogs, it harnesses the healing power of the warrior ethos and the human-animal bond. The program is designed to trigger powerful mind/body effects in our warrior trainers that reduce the symptoms of combat trauma."
