its hard to belief we never hear from them until e******n time. The number of requests begging for money daily is unbelievable. Postoffice should be doing great. We need to limit terms for congress. Like the president 8 years is enough of anyone.

Next, reduce the income to a max of 100,000 per year. Cut their expense accounts to 500,000 per year for both senate and house. They don't need to live in D C. They could meet for a week once a quarter. Use part of that budget for travel and food and shelter on those meetings then use some of that budget to maintain an office in their district. I v**e mostly republican being capitalistic but do not buy the platform of either party.

Spending millions to be elected to an office that pays 174000 is ridiculous. Learn to manage money. Want to be reelected do it because of what you do rather than trying to buy your way in. If when i go to v**e if they are an incumbant and i don't like their opponent i will write in Mickey mouse. If we all do that we would probably elect the mouse.

THINK FOR YOURSELF AND NOT ONE OF THE HERD. LET'S get the parties represent we the people vs their agendas.

I have a rule. I will v**e for an incumbent once if I like them. I will not v**e for an incumbent a third time, like them or not. People constantly harp on the need for Congressional term limits. We have them. They are called e******ns. I think any Senator or Congressman who cannot steal enough money to do them in two terms doesn't deserve a third.
For those who say I'm throwing out the baby with the bathwater, I remind you there is a lot more bathwater than baby to throw out.

Now you're getting it. I keep reminding people that we are not a two party State, we're a Constitutional republic, but after the Civil War, dems and repubs decided to split the country between them and exclude everyone else. Like the sheep we are, we just followed meekly and accepted their premise that a v**e other then for a dem or repub is a wasted v**e.

The problems in this country can be laid at the feet of the DNC and RNC.........................and the people who keep them in power.

Thank you for saying what I have been saying since 1964. I always v**e a third party. The big lie given by both the (D) and the (R) is that you are throwing your v**e away if you don’t v**e for us. There is little to no difference once they are in office. Maybe a difference now in the last few years but none before then. I bet they all still go to the same bar for a drink after the pony show given to the population each and every day.

Like you, I'm not with either party, although I will v**e for Trump. I've always been a rebel maybe even an outlaw, but my goal is to help take care of everyone.

Mostly you're correct. There are some of us that a party won't fit. We don't ask too much in fact, very little. Maybe that's the problem.
