For years we Second Amendment advocates have listened to Democrat politicians tell us what kind of guns and magazines we should have if any. The liberals on their side are just as bad or worse. Blaming every murder, shooting, mass k*****g, on the gun. Not the doer. With the C****a v***s, r**ts, and l**ting gun owners happen to be astounded how many guns and how much ammunition they are selling to first time gun owners. Many of those purchasing are liberals in liberal cities. When we (Conservatives) didn't want our Second Amendment rights trampled we were called every name in the book and lectured to from people that don't know what an assault rifle is. Don't even know what the AR stands for in AR-15 (14, if you're i***t Biden) yet they are the experts. Now, the same people that excoriated us for owning a gun suddenly see a need for one. I guess only their l***s m****r.

My main concern about all of this is how many of these Hoplophobes and anti-2nd liberals, who obviously have been programmed to h**e guns, are going to expend the energy, money and time to become competent with a gun in their hands. Are they going to overcome their fear of guns and train to handle them safely and proficiently?

In the real world, on numerous occasions, I have run into these types at shooting ranges.

Not long ago, I was at the range watching a couple of young women from Las Vegas taking turns shooting a quite small 22LR semi-auto pistol. The big gal was shooting and the pistol jammed. With her finger still on the trigger, she looked down the barrel, shook her head, then turned toward me. She hadn't taken her finger off the trigger, the muzzle was pointed at my gut, and she started coming to me.

As I ducked out of her way, I yelled at her to stop, take her finger off the trigger, and point the pistol at the ground. Then, I asked her to give me the pistol, and as I cleared the jam, I calmly gave her a basic but short lecture on gun safety. I asked her if she had ever completed a gun safety/shooting course. Nope, she had not. I told her then there were gun shops in Vegas that offered training, that she should either enroll in one or get rid of the gun.

The worst and most dangerous encounter I had with fools with guns in their hands is another story altogether.

My God that could have ended badly. Glad it didn’t. Nothing more dangerous then someone with no training handling a gun.
