All I said was SO? He tried to put something on there but said nothing about it. I have no idea what the thing is or is for, that he put a link to. I was waiting for him to say what it is for and why it is false advertising.

He has been on here for 4 yrs, so he should KNOW that when a person posts on a General chit-chat thread, they should not try to make it Political which he has tried to do twice!!

Isn’t coffee mate non dairy?

Yes, it is, but I haven't seen television for at least six years now, so I didn't know about the churning commercial, but I love Coffee Mate because it produces three sugar-free flavors.

(Explain Clabber Girl baking powder) My Mom used to make Homemade Tomato soup, which is 10 times better than canned BTW!! You had to get the milk boiling in one pan, and the Tomatoes boiling in another pan, at the same time. Then add a tspn of Baking soda to the tomatoes. It would foam all up, and you would have to pour the BOILING milk into it as soon as the foaming stopped, stirring all of the time you were pouring. Otherwise the milk would CLABBER, and made it look ICKY. Didn't effect the taste but looked bad!! Never DID like canned tomato soup!!
That COULD be where they got that name from.

Canned tomato soup has corn syrup in it and that's what ruins the taste. When you make your own foods, you control what goes into them, but more importantly, you control what does NOT go into them. I don't know how to make tomato soup, but I do know how to make my own marinara sauce, THANK GOD!!!

I don't know how to make Marinara Sauce. My Husband did while he was alive. He made all of the Italian foods. I made most of the home cooking. He made a lot of Chinese, and I made the Mexican foods. We took turns cooking up until he started leaving the burners on, and I had to take over all of it. It worked out very well.

I did not know that about canned Tomato soup. I just knew I never cared for it. Are you Italian? I ask because of how you said THANK GOD!!

Never heard of a quilting frame h*****g from the ceiling, but I guess it has some perks. Would not take up as much room in the house. But that only pushed us to get the quilt done sooner.
We made butter till I left home in '62. I even made it at times, later, when I could find a Dairy Farm in the country, and could buy the cream. My boys really thought that was neat. We always shook the GAL. JUG, while we listened to the radio, and later while we watched TV!! Mom would have k**led us if we had tossed the jug!! One time one of my brother that h**ed to work, thought if he put the jug in a box and pulled it behind his bike it would work. It didn't! He broke the jug and got a whipping.

He also caught the smoke house on fire, burned it down, got a whipping. Caught the Sap house on fire, burned it down, got a whipping. Burned the stack of Straw and manure pile outside of the barn on fire, let it burn, got a whipping. He was LAZY and irresponsible. He did not want to work. And he NEVER grew out of it. all his life he looked for a get rich scheme so he would not have to work. He finally found one. MOM. She took him in and supported him for the rest of his life, when he was in about his 30s. My Dad, I think really learned to h**e him, and I couldn't blame my Dad one bit!
The Brother died at the age of 58 of COPD, and/or Congestive heart failure, because he would not quit smoking even after he got it!!
