What would I (as President) do about C***d?

First, I’d let Governors and local authorities handle their situations. I would support States with C***d relief funds. I would listen to the medical and economic experts. Personally, I would recommend state put most of their resources to supporting their most at risk population. For the rest I would advise open up the economy, and open up the schools. Masks would be personal choices except where mandated by business and schools. Don’t shut down businesses or schools because a kid or employee tests positive. Treat C***d like the flu. Feel sick stay home. Real sick go to the hospital. Will people die? Of course. Will people die no matter what we do? Of course. Americans should. Don’t live life in fear. If businesses shut down much longer we will be a third world economy.

Unfortunately everything has to be shut down to get a handle on it so the economy and schools can open up safely.

How do governors and local governments get a handle when everything is opened up as "normal"? It takes total quarantine and identifying who has it. It's not rocket science, we did the quarantine and trump did not get the testing and tracing in gear, he didn't even try.

Just opened schools in my county and my next door neighbor’s grandchildren have both tested positive for C***D.

This will happen. CDC says mortality rate is between .2 and 1.5%. Pretty low all things considered and even less for kids. What’s the alternative? Millions of small businesses gone. Kids who aren’t socially experienced. Millions out of work and a broke govt. tracing Americans as to where they go and who they interact with. Not for me.

WOW! Shut everything down? Talk about breaking a nation! But, perhaps that is what C***D was designed to do.

I think businesses should be open, taking proper steps, but schools are another matter. I understand working mothers, but neighborhoods could step up in educating the children so other mothers can continue working. There are intelligent mothers staying at home and this path has been followed in other situations. Especially since they are doing classes on line. I h**e seeing businesses going under, particularly small businesses that have heart and soul invested.

Exactly. Either C***d or the reaction to it. So we shut down everything as dummy suggests. What then? Tests are meaningless. You can test negative one day and positive the next. I don’t see how we survive as a country living in fear.

Designed by the CCP to do just that and with a weaker leader, we’d have totally succumbed.

Children are the least at risk of all demographics. Let them be children and go to school. This is ridiculous what we are doing.

We can’t survive living in fear. Courage is needed now and in the coming months.

Pretty much. I wish the governors and local leaders would just go back to work as usual.

One of the problems with the medical experts is that they have constantly changed positions on what to do. I would also insist on a uniform standard of reporting cases so there would be more valid statistics.
