I will be taking a short break from OPP, while i mourn the loss of my greatest guitar influence and friend Johnny Winter.
i was just informed of his passing last wed. Right now i am too sad to continue on OPP at this time. I will return when i feel better, until then, May God Bless you all, liberals included.

even though he has passed on, he will always tell us that...he's still alive and well. he should like that while looking down on us from above.

I had not known of Mr. Winter until I saw the story on the MSN Homepage last week. I believe that that is probably my loss because I love music. My condolences to you and Mr. Winters' family.

I wish you God speed in healing. When the "missing" starts to get you down, I have found remembering is a wonderful healer. Just close your eyes and talk to him as if he could hear you, because he can. Then thank God for allowing you to know him.
