Is Socialism C*******m?

The question has been argued on OPP from the time first visited the forum so I decided to find the correct answer. Where better to get the answer than from the people who actually wrote the text book?
I have had this book for several years and apologize to the good people of The USA for not sharing it sooner.
You will notice that the book is edited and authorized by representatives of The C*******t Party of the Soviet Union.
Notice also that in the first page of the Introduction the word "Socialist" is used to describe themselves four times. The second page is only half a page and has the same reference two times.
I would recommend that anyone who is truly interested in the t***h about Socialism/C*******m try to find a copy of this book. That may be a problem though, it was published in 1939. No! You can't have my copy.
Those of you who will v**e for a socialist for any public office just be warned. If you get what you want, you won't like what you got.
(I added the copyright date to the title page to avoid adding a fourth page to the post.)

I paid into SS for 50 years, even when I was paid less than $100 a month in the Army and paid into Medicare from the day it was instituted. My Medicare costs me $400 a month this year and will likely go up in Jan.
Don't even try to put me on a guilt trip. It won't work. I worked for everything I get.

Stalin did not practice the same c*******m as Lennin. Mao did not practice the same c*******m as Stalin. Wh**ever system of governance is adopted, they all have one thing in common.........................keeping the government in power and controlling the people it governs.....................and that includes the mishmash governance of the United States.

Dots, There are all kinds of socialism. C*******m is the most extreme. Western " democratic socialism" is the opposite. Marxists have long considered democratic socialism an enemy of the people. This is because it gives up power voluntarily when defeated in e******ns. It also doesn't destroy all capitalist enterprises. Classic democratic socialism wants to nationalize the means of production, not distribution. Many countries in Europe have had democratic socialists governments. Sweden, Israel and,Denmark to name a few. It was a miserable failure in some countries and a success in others. The standing joke in Israels old socialism was, How do you make a small fortune in Israel? answer, Go there with a large one. Personally, I like a free enterprise system with some control to make sure it doesn't use its tremendous power against the little guy.

I wish that I knew where to find another one, my brother found mine at a big used book store in Long Beach, CA decades ago. I think the store was called Acre of books, he said it was literally at least an acre under roof.

I found one for sale at www.thriftbooks.com
It is apparently a new edition, just this year, paper back.
Search for ISBN: 0717807886.

Len, After Lenin established the Soviet Union. The big internal argument , at the time of the Russian revolution was between the Bolsheviks, and the Mensheviks. The Mensheviks were actually more doctrinaire. The didn't believe that a Marxist state could be a reality in Russia was a country of serfs. The people that worked in agriculture were not a revolutionary class according to Marx. They wanted to wait until Russia became a manufacturing nation since Marx thought that they were the revolutionary class. Since then, there have been many leaders in the USSR, and other C*******t countries and they all have one thing in common, a , dictatorship of the Proletariat, an authoritarian leadership of the C*******t Party. This is only Maxism. There were many other forms of socialism from the beginning.

The problem is that with even the least little crack in the door, government will always find a way to make it bigger and control all of it. Then the things that affect the controlled things will become targets. The expension never ends.

"I like a free enterprise system with some control to make sure it doesn't use its tremendous power against the little guy." That is the EXACT SYSTEM we now have! So pray tell me WHY are you so IN FAVOR of putting the Democrats in power with their NOW OBVIOUS slant to an EXTREME L*****T/C*******T STANCE??? The current crop of Democrats including both Biden & Harris want to go far further left than a mere "Democratic Socialist" Government! That is WHY they did NOT want Bernie on the ticket! Can't you SEE THAT!!
