The Israeli, Gaza strip conflict has deteriorated into nothing more than a blood feud. The Gaza based interior ministry and the Israeli Government are now giving propaganda lessons for their people to use on Social Media sites. Gaza is advising people to refer to the dead as innocent victims. Israel is advising referring to these same people as : human shields sacrificed by the heartless Hamas "terrorists" that rule Gaza. Neither is a true picture of what is happening in this feud.

What frightens me is not the use of propaganda. Both sides have used propaganda for years. This latest use of social media is a new level of h**eful language, a muddying of official talking points,and an attempt to dehumanize the other side. Neither side produces real t***h.

Whether in N**i Germany or Rwanda before genocide the propagandists refer to the other side as less than human. This enables you to k**l them on a large scale.

If my government insists on getting involved in this blood feud: the way I see it a two state solution is the only one. These people will not live together in peace. Force Hamas and Israel to live up to the previous agreements. If either side refuses or uses some side step, cut off all aid and trade until this is accomplished. If both sides are going to sign agreements they have no intention of keeping, I see no way any country can make a difference. If you can't trust either side to live up to the terms they have agreed upon it is a waste of time to continue.

Why not cut off all aid and trade and enact the same laws we use for American Citizens with family in the Philippine Islands. You can send no money or travel to this country until the conflict is settled. Sending money will bring about your immediate deportation. If you are going to behave like bullies, you will be treated like bullies.

After 13 days of fighting at least 425 Palestinians have died and about 20 Israelis.

Hamas is supported and supplied by Iran. Hamas needs to be destroyed. You can blast Israel all you want, but you're flat wrong. Israel is only trying to defend herself...wake up.

I thought I made it clear. I am not taking sides in a blood feud. Hamas is guilty of crimes but so is Israel. We can not back any country right or wrong. Agreements appear to be useless between these two factions.

Western media is biased as is the other side. It is an Israeli Hamas problem. Make everything equal and let them settle it. I don't want to be the world's police.

The Israelis aren't bullying the Hamas terrorist organization, Hamas has been bullying them, FOR YEARS, with rockets and homicide bombers. All the Israelis are doing is protecting themselves and trying to put a stop to the constant attacks. If Canada terrorists kept shooting rockets into our cities and sending in homicide bombers to murder us by the hundreds, do you think we'd put up with that for longer than 5 minutes?

The more of those people the Israelis k**l, the better. The estimate of people WE k**led in Iraq alone is over a million and most of them were civilians. Yet propagandists like you rage against Israel when Hamas uses their own hapless subjects as, yes, that's the correct term, Human Shields, even thought the Israelis go out of their way to prevent civilian casualties.

Name me one other government that ever warned people to evacuate before an attack. Can you? Just one?

B****sheep, please double check your numbers here. Rosie O'Donnell and Oprah Winfrey love to say we k**led over a million Iraquis but Amnesty International says it's much, much less than that. You post a lot of good stuff here but this number needs a little refinement.

I realize if you are pro-Israel, there is nothing anyone can say to change your mind. Just try to look at this situation logically.

Just suppose Hamas had sent in troops and illegally detained Israeli citizens after the brutal murder of the Palestinian teenager, who was burned alive. How would Israel respond to a foreign army encroaching on its territory and illegally detaining its' citizens? They would rightly see it as an invasion and do everything in their power to defend themselves. The problem as I see it , is Palestinian lives are not seen as equal to Israeli lives. This enables Israel to do wh**ever they please in the lands they occupy with my governments blessing.

Israel claims they have to protect themselves but occupying someone else's land is an attack. It is impossible to be defending yourself if you are the country attacking.

Moshe Dayan once said, "We don't have a solution and you will continue living like dogs" I do not want my tax dollars used to back up genocide on either side.

I am not saying Hamas is blameless. They are not but neither is Israel. For years the US government has backed Israel, right or wrong. Where has that gotten us? Maybe it is time to try and see both sides of the situation.

Why is Israel not blameless. They didn't foment the current hostilities. They have been under constant attack since their inception, without provocation. How on earth can you assess the blame on Israel for protecting its citizens and State? How long would it take you to institute preventative measures if your home was continuously being vandalized?
