The only reason there is any controversy about hydroxychloroquine is because early on President Trump endorsed it. I took it daily when I was in Africa as an anti malaria medication. I'm 80 and still kicking. What I was given was Plaquenil. It has anti inflammatory effects and what k**ls people with C***d ** is inflammation causing hemorrhaging. It is insane what the left will do to disparage the President. Even deprive folks of medicines that may well help. It isn't a cure but it may help some folks.

I always knew that the reason Democrats were so against it was because President Trump was for it!! If it was obama , believe me democrats would be kissing his ass every single day !!!

There's more to it. Why would Big Pharma want a cheap treatment? They are also in the pockets of democrats as they are republicans.

correct, The FDA and drug companies are part of the HCQ opposition as well as Democrat and media refusal to let Trump appear right on anything. A lot of members of congress that are very wealthy with money they didn't save out of their salary have large investments in big Pharma and much prefer a new drug costing $2,300. to a dirt cheap drug that has been safely used to treat malaria for more than 50 years and is at least 96% effective if used early. There has never been a more true statement than "MONEY TALKS".
