Go to Florida right now and burn your masks in protest (OMG is this yet another wear a mask tirade? To save you time, yes.)

Florida, Land of the Seniors, just reported a record increase in new C****-** deaths for a fourth day in a row on Friday, with 257 fatalities, according to the state health department.

Florida also reported 9,007 new cases, bringing its total infections to over 470,000, the second highest in the country behind California. Florida's total death toll rose to nearly 7,000, the eighth highest in the nation, according to a Reuters tally.

Florida is among at least 18 states that saw cases more than double in July.

Florida had over 311,000 new cases in July, more than triple the 96,000 new cases it reported in June. The state also recorded over 3,400 deaths in July compared with about 1,000 the prior month.
Florida reported record one-day increases in cases three times during the month, with the highest on July 12, at 15,300 new cases in a single day.

March: It was a jarring image from the c****av***s crisis: thousands of people frolicking on Clearwater Beach and seemingly thumbing their collective noses at the deadly p******c sweeping across Florida and the rest of the country.
And the man who had the power to close the state's beaches and send everybody packing was refusing to do so.

"These are our neighbors who may need to go out there, clear their head," Gov. Ron DeSantis declared on March 17 after the sight of sunbathers soaking up rays caused widespread consternation. "Because a lot of people are on edge now."

DeSantis, a Republican who took office in 2019, added that spring break was coming to an end and the horde of young people who descend on the beaches from out of state would all be clearing out and heading home.
"C****av***s is k*****g us in Florida," read the headline of a Miami Herald editorial on Sunday that blasted DeSantis' response. "Act like you give a damn."

Florida, Land of the Seniors, just reported a reco... (show quote)

I don't know about Florida, but I attended a Republican rally last week at the California State Capitol. There was very little social distancing and very few masks worn. The main issues were the closing of schools and mandatory masks in places such as grocery stores. One man started lecturing me about how wearing a mask will cause me to inhale carbon monoxide, so I leaned toward him and asked, "Mister, do you pay my bills?". He admitted that he didn't, so I said, "Then you don't tell me what to wear, either." He responded with, "I'm only trying to help.", but I retorted, "No, what you're doing is sticking your nose where it doesn't belong. I'll wear what I g#ddam please!". The way some people carry on about wearing masks, you'd think that I was going around buck naked!!

Haha, it is crazy, the whole issue of mask or no mask, just a Right divide to maintain partisan distancing.

Well! โ€œBig Dollyโ€ youโ€™re going to have to prove that statement before Iโ€™m going to believe that very few people wore masks in California ! ๐Ÿ˜‰ Your stories are very entertaining though! LOL!
