An unprecedented eviction crisis is unfolding in the U.S. and may hit 40 million

Yes, it is a growing problem! The 2nd family's should have been eligible for unemployment if he was "laid off", with the extra $600 a week from the Feds, maybe they should have tried to SAVE some money or at least pay their rent???

Not sure about laws in all states, but there is usually a time-lag before you are ACTUALLY kicked out! Most states require at least a 3-day notice and then if the tenant goes to a legal agency or advocate (usually free), there are motions that can be filed to delay an actual eviction! Obviously the 1st couple wasn't smart enough to know any of this. If you have ever owned rentals, you are probably aware of how this works! In CA you can usually stall for several months!

I do have sympathy for people in these positions, but they are often victims of their own making or stupidity!

I have another solution. I worked like hell, scrimped, saved, drove an old piece of s**t car, and paid off my house.

You are smarter than most and they’ve all been suckered into the consumerism trap of debt.

You know that.

Banksters creating products of trickery and selling them to the stupid sheeple.

Usury debt.
