They see enemies, liberals, democrats that h**es this country, they do not see fellow Americans that are different than them. The hard right, those that still support Trump see themselves as different, somehow more special, having been led to believe that they have some love of country and everyone who is against trump h**es the country.

The left does not want to end the right, these are our fellow although profoundly ignorant Americans. The right wants to end those who don't agree with them, the left understands that the greatest thing about this country is that it is okay to disagree, it's okay to have different religious beliefs, to have issues concerning identity that are not a threat to anyone else's beliefs.

The right is at war with a majority that threatens their control, this is democracy...and those who don't agree with you are also Americans, every bit as good and legitimate as the truest right winger.
