What logic(if any) is used when liberals want to restrict Americans rights by requiring them to register themselves with the government before they can purchase a firearm - vs - their cries against requiring Americans to register in order to cast a v**e in local or national e******ns.

I think that everyone should pass a background check to buy a firearm, if only the local police forces would report felons and lunatics to the FBI, whose database is used for the background checks. Since the local police nationwide only report about 7% of violent crimes to the FBI you can see that felons could buy arms in the open market.

The problem is not v***r r**********n, the problem is v***r r**********n without a picture I.D., the same as v****g without having to present a picture I.D., BTW, Obama won all of the States that do not require picture I.D. either for v***r r**********n or for v****g. New York, California, Illinois etc. Romney won all of the rest of the States, double the amount of States that Obama won. Obviously they are bigger states, more populous States, hence more e*******l v**es and Obama wins.
