If you were not able to watch the hearing, there are transcripts available on line. The democrats were rude, ugly, vile, and hatful throughout the hearing. They repeatedly used up all their allotted time attacking Mr. Barr personally and professionally, then refused to give him time to answer their questions. Clearly it was a planned strategy. Some of the republican members gave up their time so he could respond to the democrats.
Regardless of where you stand politically, the actions of the democrat members of that committee has brought shame and disrepute to the committee, to the House, and to the country.

Nevertheless, in spite of having a planned attack initiated against him, Mr. Barr clearly not only remained a gentleman, but seriously kicked their rears.

I did see a lot of it, and IMO, Mr. Barr stayed there, quietly letting the Dems make more and more fools of themselves. Their TDS was showing loud and clear, and the more they attacked Barr without letting him respond to any of their questions (as soon as he tried to say something, they talked loudly over him), the more desperate and, frankly, panic-stricken they looked....almost hysterical, even.

It’s very difficult for sane people to listen to Barr’s BS knowing who he is and what he has done.
HE believes he’s done nothing wrong, similar to trump.
Even when confronted with evidence he has.
Another pirate for the right to revere.
A scumbag for the left.

I watched most of the hearing. It was infuriating! I truly believe that the Democrats did more harm to their image than good. They were obviously lying in wait and trying to ambush Barr. He was a gentleman and comported himself admirably. When Nadler refused him a 5 minute bathroom break, that was the last straw.

They were prepared for Barr’s filibuster, they had seen it before. He wastes the whole five minutes slowly d**gging out a response that does not answer the question. When he did answer, he lied. He is supposed to work for the country, not for trump.

You clearly did not watch the hearing or read the transcript. I have my opinion about who was right and wrong, but that is not what this is about. The committee invited Barr. He came willingly. They were discourteous, rude, and would not let him speak. NO EXCUSES for treating ANYONE that way, but especially a government official that was invited to testify. It can NOT be justified, and should be condemned by any citizen.
But it won't be.

What "filibuster"? THEY invited HIM to testify, then when he tried to answer their questions, he was shouted down or refused time. Absolutely inexcusable behavior, even for democrats. They have lost ALL moral justification for condemning Trump for being inconsiderate and rude.
And by the way, just because you disagree with a statement on answer does NOT make it a lie. You are EXACTLY what you accuse Trump of being.

He came because he knew a subpoena was on the way.

I agree with Bernie.
Besides, aren't you the one that thinks the President invokes executive privilege so his "cronies" don't have to go before the big bad democrat committees? Or am I mistaken?

In any case, again, this is about proper conduct and respecting the offices, of your opponent and of yourself. There is NO excuses for the committees behavior.
