God is personal.
In Psalm 91:1, God’s Word reminds us that the best way to overcome a difficult circumstance is to remember who our God is.

In historical context, the psalmist is speaking to Israel in a time of trouble, reminding them that God is with them and will protect them.

In our current moment, it is easy to get distracted when we face stress in our lives, the rising pressures of the moment, or the uncertainty and fears of tomorrow. When this happens, we can forget how big our God is.

The God who made the universe is personal, and he has revealed himself to us. One of the ways God shows us his character and what he does for his people is through his different names. Proverbs 18:10 tells us, “The name of the LORD is a strong tower; the righteous man runs into it and is safe.”

In Psalm 91, from the start, the psalmist points us to God’s names. He explicitly mentions two names: first, he refers to God as (1) “the Most High” and then as (2) “the Almighty.” A. W. Tozer said, ”What comes into our minds when we think about God is the most important thing about us.”

What we believe about God is even more crucial when we walk through a hard day, week, or season. Our view of God will determine our relationship with God. And don’t miss this, looking to and relying on our relationship with God is the best way to overcome fears, concerns, and hardship.

When we turn to God and trust that He is “the Most High,” then we can “dwell” or find “shelter,” experiencing the peace and comfort that only comes from Him. We do not just think about Him but we pray and experience what only He can give us. When we lift our eyes to our God, who is “the Almighty,” then we can finally “rest in the shadow” of His incredible power!

Look above the current news, your situation, and the unknowns of the future to “the Most High.” Remember who our God is, then you will “dwell in the shelter of the Most High” and “rest in the shadow of the Almighty.”
“He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will abide in the shadow of the Almighty.”
‭‭Psalm‬ ‭91:1‬ ‭ESV‬‬

=============
God is in control.
One of my daily meditations are Psalm 46.
"God is my refuge and strength."

And Psalm 91. He who dwells in the shelter of the most high will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.
I will say of the Lord," He is my refuge and my fortress
My God in whom I trust."

We are a Christian nation. Let us not give it up. We must carry this precious legacy we received from the Founding Fathers, of Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness, as endowed by our Creator. WE must all UNITE to preserve it.

By President Lincoln.
"That this nation under God shall have a new birth of freedom."

May God bless America and president Trump.
Please remember, We are Christians by our love.

"Your eyes saw my substance, being yet unformed. And in Your book they all were written, The days fashioned for me, When as yet there were none of them." (Psalm 139:16)

Whatever we may be going through right now, however strange and novel we may find it, God knew long before. His knowing it means He has already prepared for each of us a secure path. Whatever need we may have has already had it’s provision in God, long before we encountered or knew we needed it.

Whatever calling is being placed upon our lives, God was preparing us for, from His knowledge of us, before the alpha and omega of our concept of eternity commenced, in order that we might fulfill it. He has been with us every step of the way, using each of our life's experiences and circumstances to prepare us.

Nothing is haphazard with our God. Everything was already in His hands long before it ever came to pass. He is able to be the perfect guide, because He saw the days of our lives long before we existed. This is how He is able to use all things to our good. This is how He is able to bring people into our lives just when we need them.

This is how He is able to provide the miracles, the encouragement, the escapes, and the moments of victory. This is how He is able to be the "I Am" in our lives – the everything and all in all. Because He knows us, intimately and He loves us completely.

There is not a single detail of our lives of which He has not already taken note, and for which He has not already prepared us. This is the incredible and unshakeable foundation for our faith, our optimism, our gratitude and our elation.

Fully comprehending this truth enables us to praise Him in every circumstance, for even when we cannot see a path forward, and are groping in the dark, we know that He on Whom we depend, sees all things clearly at all times.

He commands the light of the sun, the moon and the stars, and He is able to personally lead all who trust in Him through, into a bright new day, a completed life, and a serene eternity of rest, peace, praise and rejoicing, each in the mansion He has prepared for us.
