It's one of their standards. I've been done that way ever since I joined OPP.
I'll reply to a goofy post and not get anything back. Or, I'll get an answer and then nothing. Or
they'll try to argue with me and after a fact pounding they go away.

It might have to do with the fact that Democrat organizations are paying people to troll. I understand they get paid each time someone responds to them but not for their own response unless there is a response to that post. In other words, when they realize they have become too absurd and they will not likely get a response to something they might post, they don't post it and move on the next victim.
