For the NYPD to take this action, there must be someone bigger than DiBlasio behind them. What’s happening in this country is breaking every law. Why can’t they be arrested and charged, indicted and brought to trial... Not individually because that would tie up the court system for years. This is war.

This gives DiBlasio Legal Justification to avoid Fed Troops entering NYC... The Park had fewer than 100 homeless by the time Police cleared the Park, but it shows the City did break-up the Camp, something tangible to show the Courts in any disputes in the future...
