This decision will deprive women of prescription birth control strictly because of the religious dogma of their employers. Sadly this is going to result in something the right wing says they oppose, a significant increase in the termination of unwanted and unplanned pregnancies. We need to contact our representatives and insist they increase funding to planned parenthood to fill the void in affordable and free birth control to blunt the effect of this foolish ruling.

Excellent response to Kevyn. I was outraged by his posting. I knew he was using a completely discredited debate technique but it took me a while to realize what it was. It's called rationalization which justifies something by what MIGHT happen as a result.

Thus, if some kid is born into some particularly poor circumstance, then k**l him so he doesn't become a criminal, an addict, an alcoholic, etc. Nevermind that some of the world's greatest contributions in the sciences, math and arts have come from those born into abject poverty. Use of it will sink a debate team's chance in competition. A second wrong justifies the first one, when in fact they are separate but related points that should be debated on their own.

I know you are a very good person proud republican, but more & more evidence is accruing that condoms increase a woman's chances of developing depression! The loss of the bathing of the cervix in ejaculum leads to long time frustration on the part of the woman. No joke. This is not being widely circulated.

It gets even more interesting. The pill changes the woman's production of pheromones leaving her less attractive to her mate and is blamed for increasing divorce rates. This is at the hormonal level.
